Bye CNY 2018

My sibling made this vegetarian yee sang: mandarin orange, pomelo, apple, pineapple, guava, daikon, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, ginger, pickled onion, carrot, jicama, sesame seeds, peanuts and cornflakes.

Size comparison. The portion was huge. More than enough for the 7 of us. So today is the last day of CNY 2018 celebration. Till next year!

Lou Sang 1

A healthy lou sang - purple cabbage, wolfberry (goji), pine nuts, dried cranberries, cornflakes, carrots, white fungus, coriander and maybe some other ingredients that I did not take note of. Since I am eating with 7 other persons, I just took photos of the food in my own bowl.

My portion of yee sang

An individual mini pot of Cordyceps Militaris  (虫草子实体) Chicken Soup - bursting with the taste of goodness.

Red and Green Capsicum, carrots and assorted mushrooms - black mushrooms and monkey head mushroom (Hericium erinaceus).

Fried rice with cabbage, chicken meat, tiny anchovies, prawns, eggs.

There are 3 dishes here: 1) Sambal Prawn Balls 2) Stirfried lettuce 3) waxed rice (lap mei fan) hidden underneath the lettuce and prawns.

Stirfried noodles with beansprout

Bill came up to a little over MYR400 so that is MYR50 per pax, This Oriental Bowl restaurant is located very near to Central Market.

Here's wishing everyone a very Happy and Prosperous Chinese New Year! Enjoy your reunion dinner tomorrow!
