On Wednesday 21.may.2025, went to Sri Petaling for an errand and ate at two eateries.

11.08 am - I ordered iberico satay. There are 8 skewers of satay MYR 29.90+ so 4 each.

Completed my meals at 12 noon after this iberico pork meals.

10.47 am - the menu says need to wait for 20 minutes for the satay.

9.14 am - very easy to eat kaya butter toasts

Delivery promo Raja Satay 1900

On Wednesday 25.sep.2024, went to Ming Hin for brunch with foc eggs. Later he noticed shopeefood has a very good value for money promo so he ordered satay delivery.

9.23 am - free 2 soft boiled eggs each on weekdays between 8 am to 10 am. He ordered luncheon meat egg toasts MYR 5.50 nett which we both shared.

9.14 am - he ordered hot cham MYR 2.50 nett and meat noodles soup small portion MYR 10.90 nett. I ordered curry chicken and toast MYR 10.90 nett. Total MYR 29.80 nett.

*** Raja Satay 1900 delivery ***

1.21 pm - shopeefood promo so he bought 10 chicken satay pack which includes gravy, cucumber, onion, half a tube of compressed rice aka ketupat. The chicken meat is all lean meat so is very suitable for me but I wish it could be softer for my weak teeth.

This pack is worth MYR 22.30 and the promo price is MYR 11.15 so after adding delivery fees MYR 4 and small order fees MYR 2.15, he used MYR 4 shopeefood discount evoucher and redeemed shopeecoins MYR 1.78, the total paid is MYR 11.53 nett inclusive of delivery fees which is offset totally by the evoucher.

Tiramisu Annual Meetup

On Thursday 25.jul.2024, went to pavilion Bukit Jalil to meet up with my friend at A'rest Cafe Aurora Place.

10.23 am - our favourite mihun boneless chicken fillets MYR 17.90++

10.18 am - one breakfast set MYR 12.90++ with eggs, Kaya butter toast and hot cham.

11.33 am - my iced long black coffee MYR 9.90+ and we shared a slice of cotton berry cake MYR 18+ which is light and tasty 😋 

My friend ordered a cup of hot pomegranate oolong tea MYR 11.90+ with refillable hot water. Total bill is MYR 80 nett which we shared equally. Had a nice chit chat for about 2 hours while he waited for me at the bookshop. We had to stop as my friend wants to visit a friend at the hospital and the visiting hours are until 2 pm only.

11.39 am - smoked salmon on very thin crispy crust pizza base MYR 32.90+ which we shared.

12.11 noon - I ate the pizza this way, two pieces together like a sandwich. The very crispy thin crust makes it feel as if I am eating crispy crackers biscuits. Yummy! 😋

Black market eatery with iberico pork bak kut teh is now available at the food merchant supermarket in pavilion Bukit Jalil so before we went home, we ate our very early dinner there.

1.56 pm - one set iberico pork bak kut teh lard rice MYR 33 nett.

2.06 pm -pork satay MYR 18 nett. The raw onions are very pungent until they caused a burning sensation in my nose but I ate all of them.

2.16 pm - I ate his remaining lard rice which is a bigger portion than the portion that he ate.

1.54 pm - the staff told us that there is a buy 1 get 1 free promo for tiramisu at MYR 18 nett each so I chose original tiramisu with liquor and matcha tiramisu.

Didn't choose original tiramisu without liquor, gula melaka tiramisu and taro tiramisu.

2 pm - as he doesn't eat dairy products, I ate both the tiramisu and prefer the original tiramisu with liquor. Two for the price of 1 MYR 18 nett.

Eating carbs, dairy and sugar makes the number go up so I am going to water fast for 1 day.

Tingkap

On Friday 3.may.2024, he suggested going to Tingkap for food.

10.37 am - managed to park the car right in front of the eatery. Self service to order and pay at the cashier counter. Nasi Kak Chik which is nasi bungkus Dari pantai Timur MYR 7.50 nett.

10.39 am - The curry and sambal are packed in plastic bags and wrapped together with the rice inside the paper wrapper. The rice is firm and has floral fragrance.

10.41 am - Hot cham drink MYR 4 nett with very strong condensed milk taste so it is very sweet due to the condensed milk.

10.43 am - Roti jala curry chicken MYR 6.50 nett

Cucur udang aka prawns fritters MYR 6.50 nett

Iced long black coffee MYR 10.50 nett which is refreshing and tasty 

11.09 am - Satay daging beef MYR 1.70 nett each x 10 sticks. Each stick has one piece of solid beef fats.

Satay chicken MYR 1.20 nett each x 10 sticks.

Total bill is MYR 64 nett. Food is ok. 

10.51 am - we are seated right in front of the cashier counter.

11.32 am - shop front Tingkap at PJ.

11.38 am - as we were very full, we walked to the food court at the pj market.

11.39 am - cross this pedestrian bridge.

11.45 am - cross this road.

11.48 am - pj market food court. Two cendol stalls: Jessie 48 and peggy 46.

11.51 am - we shared one cendol from jessie's stall. Not that sweet so it is tasty at only MYR 4.50 nett.

1.21 pm - his early mixed roast meat dinner MYR 10 nett bought from pj market food court.

12.13 noon - nice pedestrian bridge.

Xiao Ming Kopitiam

On Friday 16.feb.2024, went over 2x and visited 4 places operated by 3 parties.

12.36 noon - he ordered siew yuk cintan Mee set with iced coffee MYR 16.90++

12.30 noon - 5 skewers chicken satay MYR 13.50++

12.27 noon - egg tart and kaya puff MYR 3.50++ each. The kaya has fragrant coconut taste so is nice.

2.01 pm - the hot coffee has a very strong milk taste so he asked me to drink it all

2.38 pm - need to wait till 3 pm so ordered iced long black MYR 10.50 nett and red bean donut MYR 4.50 nett. The coffee is light for a double and has a floral taste.

8.13 am - we shared a wanton noodles trotter MYR 13 nett and hot cham MYR 2.20 nett.

Bought half duck, MYR 20 trotter, mushrooms, 3 eggs, chap, small rice MYR 74.50 nett from mbpj duck. I didn't order big intestines but was charged and given them.

Taro Coconut Sofuto

On Sunday 3.Dec.2023, planned to go to the ward during lunch but kid1 went at 11 am so we changed our plan and went at 3 pm as visiting hours on Sunday is from 12.30 noon to 7 pm.

3.25 pm - went to buy tuna sandwich for the elderly and saw this taro Coconut Sofuto cone MYR 3.90 nett so bought one and ate it in the car. Taste like bubur chachar so is tasty.

Later at 6.30 pm on the way back, bought one for him to try but he says it has dairy taste so he just ate one mouthful to try and I had to eat the remaining ice cream which I don't mind. Two Taro coconut soft-serve for me in one day.

*** Million Ocean coffee shop ***

10.23 am - his fish slice Hor fun MYR 9.50 nett.

10.24 am - I ordered this chicken mihun kway Teow curry Mee soup MYR 9.50 nett.

The see ham aka cockles are fresh and juicy. The curry broth is not salty and taste good. We shared this bowl of noodles.

Also bought a small cup of hot cham aka coffee mixed tea MYR 2.30 nett for him and a glass of iced champ for me. The iced Cham tastes chocolatey so I like it and will order it again.

10.33 am - I ate this remaining portion of his fish slice noodles. The fish slices are kind of slimy so I don't like it. Not sure what fish it is. The fish has a bit of muddy taste. The hor fun taste good though.

3.40 pm to 5.40 pm - was at the ward. After the ward, stopped at Satay Station for early dinner. Will talk about it tomorrow.

7.06 pm - on the way home, stopped by the elderly and steamed the remaining siew Mai, fish ball and bao that kid1 bought for the elderly's lunch for the elderly's dinner.

Elderly is happy to eat family mart tuna sandwich.

11 am - kid1 visit:

CT scan brain done, no new bleeding spot, old spots remain status quo

Wound on head will be referred to Neuro Surgeon on whether or not it requires any sutures.

5 pm - during his visit:

The neurosurgeon stitched up the wound even though the wound is not deep because he says there are many tiny blood vessels on the scalp so it can easily bleed even when touch slightly so need stitches. Stitches to be removed in 7 days. No need to change dressings unless there is infection.

Will give antibiotics and painkillers.

5 to 6 stitches.

11 am - the wound is about 1 cm.
