On Wednesday 18.march.2026, went to 99 fish aquarium shop in Tmn Taunton view, cheras.

Hot coffee C non sweet 4.5++

Kaya swiss roll 5.9++

He ordered:

Soft boiled eggs 2.90++

Hot cham 4.5++ which is sweeter than I would like it to be.

8.31 am - I also ordered two add on fried eggs MYR 3++

We shared nasi lemak fried chicken whole leg 14.90++

8.34 am - we also shared kaya butter toast 3.90++

Total MYR 45.90 nett. All the food is tasty 😋

9.31 am - this eatery is a few doors away from the fish shop so we shared a bowl of Penang prawn noodles with less noodles and a glass of hot barley drink. After that he bought some guppies from the fish shop.

On Tuesday 17.march.2026, went to eat chap fan and ate tong Sui at Wah Yuen Dessert as the car was parked in front of the dessert shop for 2 hours at MYR 1 per hour.

8.05 am - he cooked 4 eggs, 1 red waxed sausage, 1 dark waxed sausages and spring onions omelette and ate all of the omelette as I don't want to eat so early in the morning. Also because I don't eat waxed sausages.

11.43 am - not sure which plate is MYR 7 nett and which plate is MYR 7.50 nett. Total MYR 14.50 for two chap fan without any rice.

Pickled Qiáo Tóu

On Monday 16.march.2026, went to Sri Petaling for food.

8.36 am - breakfast set MYR 5.90++ of hot coffee, toasts and soft boiled eggs. Top up MYR 2++ to change hot coffee to iced white coffee so total is MYR 7.90++

8.41 am - I ordered one chicken glutinous rice MYR 8.20++ The portion is small and the glutinous rice is very soft so it is suitable for us. 

Total MYR 18.70 nett.

After that we walked to various shops to look for pickled qiao tou aka pickled leeks bulbs to eat with century eggs because when I was around 8 years old, I used to eat pickled leeks bulbs with century eggs.

9.30 am - we shared a lunch set of deep fried squids nasi lemak and hot lemon no sugar drink. Total MYR 17.90 nett.

12.45 noon - he ate the roast pork siew yuk and bbq  pork char siew MYR 10 nett he bought takeaway from Thong Kee coffee shop as his early dinner. I didn't eat any of this meat as I need to finish the two remaining century eggs.

1.34 noon - I ate these two remaining chicken century eggs with wholemeal bread. Yummy 😋 

We thought we bought A1 brand duck century eggs 4 in a pack but when we looked at it again, we found that we have bought A1 brand chicken century eggs MYR 8.90 nett 4 eggs in one pack.

Duck century eggs taste stronger than chicken century eggs.

1.29 pm - before I cut the chicken century eggs.

We walked to the following shops to look for pickled qiao tou aka pickled leeks bulbs either in cans as below or in glass bottles to eat with the century eggs but they are out of stock, only pickled slices of ginger are available. But we didn't buy the pickled ginger slices.

On Sunday 15.march.2026, went to Taman Segar Cheras for food and we were supposed to wait there till 10 am to buy guppies but changed plans so didn't wait.

8.55 am - went to Starbucks to sit and wait till appointment time. I bought the MYR 15 nett breakfast promo of a drink and a pastry. I chose cold brew and mushrooms pastry.

9.32 am - cross section of the mushrooms pastry. Kept half for another day.

10 am - collected the car and went to appointment place to wait till 10.30 am.

10.16 am - party 2 arrived

11.44 am - he ordered hot beancurd barley tong sui MYR 9.90++

I ordered ice blended lei Cha milk drink MYR 13.90++ which I find very tasty and refreshing. On my previous visit, I ordered this cold drink too. Slightly sweet only.

11.46 am - minced meat skewer MYR 12.90++

I like the yuzu taste. 😋 

11.50 am - pan seared pork belly rice set MYR 33.90++

I chose brown rice and requested for half a bowl only. I like the taste of the brown rice and century egg cold tofu. 😋 

11.50 am - he said he could taste tauchu bean paste being used to marinate this pork belly but I couldn't. He cut a bit of lean meat for me to try as I don't want to eat the fatty parts. 

Total MYR 81.90 nett. A satisfying meal.
