On Saturday 26.april.2025, was on the way to eat brunch at swee heng but it started to rain so we went to park at  pinnacle condo basement car park.

On Thursday 24.april.2025, I wasn't feeling hungry in the morning and I need to eat all 3 tea eggs in the fridge bought 6 days ago on Friday 18.april.2025 so in the morning I didn't order any food, just helped him finish his food.

10.26 am - I ordered iced Cham MYR 3.30 nett. This time the coffee taste is less, it tastes sweet and milky.

4.15 pm - my portion of all the sui gao doughy  skins which I like. He ate all the meat fillings and gave me all the sui gao doughy skins with nai pak. He also had some remaining roasted cashew nuts so I put them into the bowl to eat together.

Si Si Nan Cun PBJ

On Tuesday 22.april.2025, we went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil because I wanted to try the new eatery called 四四南村 aka Si Si Nan Cun that just opened a few weeks ago at the location previously occupied by Kwong Wah Ais Kacang.

11.34 am - between pork belly and pork chop, I chose pork chop which is lean and tasty 😋 so I will order pork chop again. Then it is either rice or noodles to go with pork chop so I selected braised minced pork 90% fat 10% lean pork rice with a sunny side up egg for him to try.

Customers who prefer not so lean meat can select braised pork belly.

They have a lunch set menu from 12 noon onwards where a drink is included but we didn't wait till 12 noon so we didn't order any drinks.

11.31 am - champion braised pork rice 90% fat 10% lean meat vs golden ratio braised pork rice 50% fat 50% lean meat. The price above is for rice with pork chop set.

11.36 am - I ordered this single portion of braised knuckles MYR 15++ for him to try. He says it has a bit of lamb taste which I don't know why because I didn't try it.

11.39 am - he ordered braised beef noodles set which includes salted vegetables, tofu and half a braised egg MYR 23.90++ and he let me eat most of it. 

I ordered spinach scallion pancake MYR 9.90++ which is cut into 4 pieces. I ate 3 pieces while he ate 1 piece. This pancake is quite doughy.

12.06 noon - my portion with a lot of noodles and slices of beef shank. The beef shank is nice with tendons but my teeth are too weak even for medium thickness slices of beef.

9.22 am - this Shepard Avocado is too ripe so we shared it for breakfast at home before going to PBJ. We ran out of bread at home so that is why I didn't eat it with bread.

On Monday 21.april.2025, we went to Golden Chopsticks to eat chapfan no rice and then to Yit Cha Kaw Kaw for toasts.

9.49 am - total inclusive of one ice cham drink is MYR 18 nett. My chapfan no rice: pumpkin, broccoli and okra. His: minced pork patty, yam and stir fry gourd. We shared the food as I like to eat yam too.

Mee Siam Fried Fish

On Sunday 20.april.2025, I suggested Three piglets Kopitiam Taman desa to try out their dishes.

9.08 am - I ordered mee siam fried fish MYR 16.80+ 

Fish is fried after the order is placed so it is very crispy until I ate almost everything including the head and the tail leaving only the back bone.

The mee siam portion is quite small so is suitable for me. Taste wise, lightly flavourful.

9.03 am - nasi lemak fried pork belly MYR 14.80+ he feels that the portion of pork belly is too little so we ordered add on chicken rendang MYR 9.80+ the pork belly is marinated with nam yue aka red yeast fermented bean paste.

His hot teh O MYR 4.30+ and my cham C MYR 5.80+ taste good. I prefer this iced cham C than my previous order of iced coffee which is bitter  in a strange way with the milk and sweetness that my enjoyment of drinking it all wasn't at its highest level.

Total MYR 54.10 nett paid by card and the company name stated in the online transaction is ah Muk so they are still ah Muk?

9.12 am - the add on chicken rendang MYR 9.80+ they gave a chicken drumstick.

9.43 am - very crispy fish so only the backbone remains uneaten.

4.11 pm - he gave me a small bowl of daikon and figs because I said I didn't want ribs and soup. I really like the taste of daikon cooked in soup. 😋

Basil Fried Rice Chicken Thigh

On Saturday 19.april.2025, I suggested Midvalley Mall which was not a good idea because on the way back, it was raining and there were many vehicles so all routes home were congested and took us one hour to get home instead of the usual 16 minutes.

10.44 am - basil fried rice whole chicken leg MYR 19.90++ and hot nescafe coffee less sweet MYR 6.50++

Both of us shared this rice dish.

Previously we requested for no chili padi in the fried rice and they replaced the chili padi with various seasonings which we didn't like so now we don't make any requests but removed all the chili padi from the fried rice ourselves and the taste is very nice 👍 🙂 

11.06 am - my portion, this portion is very suitable for me because it allows me to have a taste of this dish and still leaves me space to eat more items at more eateries for varieties.

He suggested that we eat at this eatery before going back.

12.46 noon - braised beef soup noodles MYR 19.90++ with half a braised egg, half a braised tofu and salted vege. The slices of beef shank are thin with tendon. The soup has light herbs and spices taste. I prefer herbs with stronger taste. I guess they tone the herbs taste down to cater for local preference.

I then added on Aiyu shaved ice MYR 12++ which includes a small plate of pickled cucumber.

I also ordered spring onion pork pie MYR 6.90++ for 3 pieces so each pork pie is quite small with very little pork spring onion in it.

12.49 noon - the pickled cucumber 

12.57 noon - my portion of noodles. I ate all the aiyu iced dessert because it is quite sweet so he doesn't want to eat much of it.
