On Wednesday 27.may.2026, we went to Taman Desa because it is a public holiday so there is foc parking.

He chose the new ytf eatery that we noticed on Sunday 22.feb.2026:

8.07 am - ytf MYR 2.30 nett each:

1 fish paste ball

The size of each piece is slightly bigger than ytf elsewhere. The fish meat paste fillings have some bits and pieces of chewy unknown items that could be skin or ligaments so I spat them out.

He ordered:

Small portion of curry noodles MYR 11.50 nett

Takeaway trotters vinegar MYR 20 nett

Hot white coffee less sweet MYR 4.20 nett

I ordered:

Plain mihun in soup MYR 4.50 nett

Small portion of lamb curry MYR 20 nett

I took home most of the lamb meat

Completed my meals for this day at 12 noon.

Bought dark chocolate soft serve MYR 3.90 nett from family mart for him and requested him to eat it all because I don't want to eat any of it.

On Saturday 11.april.2026, went to Yitcha Kaw Kaw for breakfast and went back home. After that went to buy some items to be delivered and on the way back, went to the food merchant supermarket at OUG. Ate lunch at Kenny Hills Coffee Roasters oug which is located in the same makeshift building as the supermarket.

7.55 am - he ordered mixed processed food in soup and hot coffee ☕. I ordered one hard boiled egg and warm sweet potato sweet soup.

7.58 am - I ordered a single portion of kaya butter toasts MYR 3++ because he didn't want to eat it.

Double portion of kaya butter toasts costs MYR 5.80++

8.02 am - we shared a bowl of duck leg noodles in soup. Total MYR 51 nett

8.13 am - my portion. I drank all the soup 😋

Went to spdmrt99 n kk but not suitable so went to Big and bought 2 packs of 100 nitrile powder free MYR 19.90 nett per pack.

10.22 am - I ordered a lamb meatball wrap MYR 26++ Very tasty 😋 the wrap dough is thin and crispy.

We then bought one frozen salted chicken MYR 45 nett from a vending machine outside the supermarket.

1.44 pm - he steamed the frozen salted chicken and cooked tong hoo vege soup. I ate half the soup with vege and a bit of the salted chicken which is tasty but salty.

1.47 pm - one whole salted chicken 

1.52 pm - he kept half of the chicken for another day.

On Wednesday 11.jun.2025, went to warisan Kopi for brunch and he bought siew yuk takeaway from Canton-Z for his early dinner.

1.34 pm - I ate the remaining vinegared pork ribs and all the remaining oz lamb slices and large green chillies slices bought on Sunday from luck Farm.

5.34 pm - took a long time because it was spicy and I have to pick out those tiny red and hot small green chilies. Long time but still completed eating all of the remaining food.

HK Curry Lamb

On Sunday 8.dec.2024, he suggested going to Bangsar jalan telawi area to eat beef noodles and for me to eat the curry lamb at Hong Kong Garden which is located at the previous Devi's Corner shop lot. As the eatery only opens at 10 am and we reached there at about 9.40 am, he thought of having coffee at Chawan only to find that Chawan is no longer there. A search online found that Chawan has closed this outlet way back in 2018. I guess both of us are still living in the ice age. 😂 No Chawan so we had our coffee at QBistro before and after our meal at Hong Kong Garden.

Devi's Corner eatery has moved up the street way back in 2022. Now the map shows Kaara Saaram Claypot & Banana Leaf when searching for Devi's Corner.

10.47 am - I ordered curry lamb belly with rice MYR 25++ and kept half the rice for the freezer.

10.48 am - after discussing which beef noodles to order, we chose 3 items: brisket, tendon and stomach MYR 25++ to go with wanton noodles.

10.55 am - he ate half the beef noodles and let me have the remaining half while he went across the road to Q-Bistro for his hot coffee and eggs.

11.04 am - the curry lamb belly is delicious so I ate all of it easily with half the rice leaving only the bones and fats. Then I start on the beef wanton noodles before joining him at Q-Bistro.

I asked the owner at the cashier counter whether or not this eatery is related to Man Kee in midvalley mall. He said they no longer provide ingredients to Man Kee so the answer is no.

2.27 pm - some fish and vege for me with the Q-Bistro iced coffee o kosong that was finished at home. 

On the way home, stopped by Taman Desa and he bought takeaway one piece of mackerel fish MYR 10 nett and some veges MYR 5 nett for his early dinner from Rest23 Banana Leaf, an eatery same row as Charlie's Cafe and Le Deli. Bought 1 pack of frozen lemongrass marinated chicken chop and 1 pack of chilled raw bacon from Le Deli MYR 26.80 nett.

Double Layers Roof

On Saturday 28.sep.2024, at 7 am went to TST coffee shop formerly new Lian hin coffee shop for brunch.

7.26 am - my dry Hor fun braised lamb MYR 16.90 which is tasty but there is a lot of hor fun, way out of my comfort eating amount but I ate them all. There are 3 pieces of deep fried lard cubes mixed into the Hor fun noodles. I gave him two and I ate one because he doesn't want to eat 3 cubes. There are about 6 pieces of tender lamb on bones in this dish.

7.26 am - I also ordered one glass of iced cincau coffee MYR 4.90 whereas he ordered a large cup of hot hainam char drink MYR 3.60 with a bowl of pork mihun horfun and he was surprised that there are no livers and innards in his bowl of noodles. He wondered whether they sell innards or not but he didn't ask them about it. The pork noodles soup tastes of garlic and a bit of tong choy.

7.34 am - he also ordered kaya toasts with chilled butter MYR 3.50 and soft boiled eggs MYR 3.80 so total price for 6 items is MYR 42.20 nett. The  butter isn't as tasty as some butter that I have often eaten.

My omad is completed at 8.30 am.

Lamb Stew Hor Fun

On Saturday 10.aug.2024, no parking at million ocean so went on to the previous location of New Lian Hin for brunch.

8.47 am - he ordered curry noodles MYR 9.50 nett and I ordered lamb Stew Hor fun MYR 16.90 nett. The lamb is soft and tender enough for me and I like the lamb taste so I will order it again.

Total MYR 36.40 nett inclusive of 2 half boiled eggs not in photos. Bill still says Restoran New Lian Hin.

The signboard now says Restoran TST.

9.29 am - I have eaten both braised mutton wanton mee and lamb stew Hor fun soup. I prefer the latter.

When back, I ate all the remaining two Mr. Bean pancake: kaya cheese and chocolate cheese. He ate the remaining 1 hazelnut pancake.
