On Tuesday 28.april.2026, went to Chun Yang but couldn't find a parking spot so went to Ipoh Ipoh Sri Petaling instead. At 1.30 pm, received a call to change the appointment from 3 pm to 2 pm so got ready to go work. After that, went to Kwong Wah Ice Kuchai Lama for cold desserts because the weather is very hot 🥵

Curry BBQ pork noodles MYR 17.90 add MYR 1 for wanton noodles 

Hot white coffee MYR 6 

I ordered:

Cold black coffee no sugar MYR 5

The cold coffee is not sweet at all but I can still feel that the coffee beans are roasted in sugar.

I feel that coffee beans roasted in sugar will taste nicer with milk so next time I must remember not to order black coffee no sugar at this eatery.

9.13 am - I also ordered wanton prawns dumplings 7 pieces for MYR 16

*** Avocado 🥑 ***

12.55 noon - he ate half a Shepard avocado. Unlike hass avocado, this Shepard avocado has very thin skin that stays green when ripe. The flesh does not turn brown after being cut and exposed for one hour as in shown the photo above.

1.09 pm - the skin is very thin so I couldn't peel it easily resulting in scratches and nicks in the surface of flesh after the skin has been removed.

I ate this half avocado 🥑 with 3 slices of wholemeal bread.

1.49 pm to 2.29 pm - went to work appointment

He kept all the potatoes cubes in our trusted container from home for me to eat them the next day.

On Monday 30.march.2026, went to Thong Kee Sri Petaling for food and waited at Nam Heong Pinnacle condo for mrdiy to open at 10 am. Later at 12 noon, suddenly received a request for a 2 pm appointment. After the appointment, went to Kwong Wah Ice Kuchai dessert for ice ABC and cendol.

8.58 am - Our favourite steamed chicken pieces and prawns hor fun noodles in soup MYR 14 nett.

9 am - Pork misua MYR 12 nett and hot cham.

9.01 am - Two soft boiled eggs for him.

9.31 am - Breakfast set eggs, toasts, hot coffee ☕ MYR 5.90++ so I changed the hot coffee to ice white coffee by adding MYR 2++ so this set is MYR 7.90++

9.35 am - I also ordered the breakfast nasi lemak deep fried chicken chop MYR 6.90++ and requested him to eat all of the small piece of fried chicken chop and I ate half the rice with all the onion sambal. Kept half the rice and store it in the freezer at home.

12.04 noon - The previous day we bought 7 types of guava and shared them with my friend. We took only 5 types so I washed and cut all 5 types: 3 pink types and 2 white types.

On Monday 23.feb.2026, went to eat breakfast at million ocean and took a seat at the 1st floor. Then went back and out again at 10 am for 10.30 am duty. After duty, a quick pit stop home and then out again for lunch at kwong wah ice shop.

On Wednesday 18.feb.2026, he cooked breakfast very early in the morning and then we went to Bai nian, midvalley mall and kwong wah Kuchai lama.

6.49 am - my portion of vit instant noodles mixed with gravy from the pork knuckle with 3 big mushrooms on top, 2 pieces of tofu at the bottom of the noodles, a bit of pork knuckle meat, 2 thin slices of sea cucumber and 3 leaves of lettuce lining the plate. He prepared such a huge meal at 6.49 am for me 😂 

6.47 am - his vit instant Noodles with meat from the pork knuckle and I helped him finish his noodles because he wanted to eat lunch later.

There are still lots of pork knuckle meat remaining so he divided them into two portions and stored the two containers in the freezer.

7.12 am - wawachoy which is my favourite so I ate this whole bowl of wawachai or wawachoy by myself. Slurps 😋 

8.01 am - I peeled and cut the two daikons bought from urban supermarket pinnacle the previous day and he cooked them with the gravy from the pork knuckle dish. I ate one bowl of this daikon and kept the remaining in the fridge.

11.34 am - he ordered the signature whole chicken leg nasi lemak MYR 16.90++ and one glass of Cham MYR 5.50++

I only ate a bit of the chicken meat because I was very full from the huge morning breakfast noodles he prepared for me. 😘 

I was thirsty so I ordered a glass of ice barley without any sugar.

On Monday 2.feb.2026, went to ELK Kopitiam for brunch and to Kwong Wah for early dinner because it is a public holiday so less traffic.

The rendang gravy is too sweet for us

Thai Yeh Promo

 On Friday 29.nov.2024, went to eat brunch at Thai Yeh Kope Aeon Maluri because they are having a promo until year end, selling two popular dishes at a budget price.

After that bought items from Hock Hua shop and Watson before driving to lubiantan ABC to eat ice desserts which will be shown on another day.

10.36 am - crab meat fried rice. Promo price is MYR 9.90+ when normal price is MYR 24.90+

It has many pieces of cubes wax sausages in the fried rice. We kept half of it.

10.36 am - Thai Crab Meat Curry. Normal price MYR 29.90+ and now till year end, the promo price is MYR 13.90+ which is a good price. This dish is worth a try. The curry feels like egg Otak Otak with curry spices. I like the soft otak otak texture and the taste which is like chicken & curry Twisties. We ate this dish in their Kuchai lama branch last year.

On Saturday 21.sep.2024, it was drizzling so went to Chun Heong coffee shop Bangsar for brunch before going to midvalley mall to buy sunshine a. oats bread.

8.42 am - he ordered Kai see hor fun soup MYR 10 nett. The soup is very flavourful, full of prawn shells umami taste.

8.31 am - our favourite 3jc dry mihun horfun MYR 10 nett. The rectangle meat ball is dense in texture and retain the same taste as before.

I requested his help to buy 3 soft vege dishes for me from the chapfan stall and he bought yin choy, shredded gourds and eggs no rice MYR 6 nett.

8.46 am - this is the 3jc stall.

*** Nyonya Colours Midvalley Mall ***

9.18 am - we didn't drink coffee at Chun Heong coffee shop so we drank coffee at nyonya colours Midvalley Mall. I bought:

1. Breakfast set MYR 11.80++ kaya butter toasts which is full of nice coconut taste so we will order this breakfast set again as the soft boiled eggs have big egg yolks and the texture is smooth and fluffy. I upgraded the drink to nescafe by adding MYR 0.60++ 

2. I ordered a bowl of ABC MYR 7.90++

10.31 am - hot herbal jelly MYR 15 nett shared by the two of us. We didn't put any syrup so I could taste the strong bitter herbal taste.

*** Baker's Son Banana Cake ***

1.36 pm - I bought a loaf of banana cake MYR 8.50 nett from Jaya Grocer and MYR 12 nett for 6 tea eggs from purple cane at MYR 6 nett for 3 tea eggs and MYR 2.50 nett for 1 tea egg.

2.03 pm - the banana cake crumbles easily so I ate it with a spoon. Not too sweet.
