7.44 am - both of us were shocked 😲 😲 😳 by the q so early in the morning so we went elsewhere

8.55 am - ice lime without sugar. Very refreshing.

Met up with my friend. Ate set lunch at Marco because Hock Kee has a q.

Iced signature Hainan drink 50% sugar MYR 4 nett so I can taste the tea but I still find it a bit too sweet for me

Iced coffee Kaw Kaw MYR 4 nett, a bit bitter

10.13 am - cheese egg ham sandwich MYR 8.90 nett.

The cheese egg ham bun that I ordered previously is still available at MYR 7.90 nett.

Flower Girl n Iron House Cafe

On Monday 9.sep.2024, went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil for food.

11.50 am - he chose this eatery so all 3 food items ordered are selected by him.

The Kaya butter toasts are very tasty because the Kaya has nice coconut taste. The sambal in the nasi lemak has nam yu dou ban Jiang taste. The iced Hainan coffee tastes thick and rich, almost taste similar to chocolate drinks. Will order the Kaya butter toasts next time.

1.27 pm - after walking around the mall for almost 1 hour, I finally decided to eat the set lunch at flower girl cafe. I know of this eatery from NuxV review:

I upgraded the drink included in the lunch set to iced long coffee by adding MYR 5. It has a bit of sour taste which I like. The mashed potatoes taste of butter.

*** Spanish Olive Pork ***

3.32 pm - he saw this Spanish olive pork so bought it. The olive pork bacon is marinated with BBQ sauce whereas the premium pork bacon is marinated with the usual bakwa sauce.

We will eat the egg rice at the eight next time.

Asparagus

On Sunday 21.apr.2023, didn't go out at all. He cooked the food he bought from the supermarket on Saturday.

9.21 am - grilled asparagus. Very tasty 😋 I like to eat grilled asparagus.

9.22 am - his sunny side up eggs, pork belly bacon, pumpkin, mushrooms in the pan. Crispy pork lard in the small bowl and pork lard oil in the glass container.

9.22 am - he fried an egg with fully cooked egg yolk for me.

3 pm - my brunch of the food he cooked. Very tasty 😋 I ate the fried egg with whole meal bread. I also ate the remaining tea egg, Bunn Choon pastries and Kai Dan Gou.

Red Kettle Garden Mall

On Saturday 20.apr.2024, went for early brunch at lucky garden kopitiam Bangsar coffee shop and then went to the Garden Mall for grocery shopping. Ended up having a heavy lunch at Red Kettle Garden Mall that just opened early April this year. So happy that Red Kettle cafe is now in The Garden Mall so I don't need to go to Starling Mall for it anymore. On the way home, passed some items to my friend.

11.49 am - big Breakfast MYR 49.90++ which has eggs, crispy belly bacon, back bacon, sausage, potato, carrot, pumpkin, corn, mushrooms, salad, toast, french toasts, butter, honey, and tomatoes. The eggs are very tasty. Super worth it.

11.42 am - garlic prawns MYR 33.90++ with lots of herbs so the gravy is very appetising with a bit of spiciness. His hot flat white MYR 13.90++ and my yuzu cold brew coffee MYR 18.90++ which I guess is made by adding sweet yuzu preserves to cold brew coffee so there are yuzu peels in the coffee drink which gives the coffee a very aromatic yuzu citrus sweet taste.

Beerenberg honey is given in its small sealed container for the french toasts.

1.08 pm - total bill is MYR 135.25 nett. Will eat at this cafe again.

From inside The Garden Mall, on the ground floor, just walk towards the north end, heading to twg and godiva kiosks, turn left into a long narrow corridor when customers see the red Kettle sign to go to Red Kettle cafe which is facing the internal road between the Garden Mall and Midvalley Mall. Took us a while to find it. Parking MYR 5 nett from 9.30 am to 2 pm.

8.43 am - cham hot drink and iced cham drink MYR 5.20 nett. 3jc MYR 10 nett. The soup is very peppery so he likes the taste of this soup.

8.49 am - pork noodles soup MYR 10 nett. I ate all his remaining noodles.

DIY Big Breakfast

On Wednesday 7.dec.2022, didn't go out so buy one shopeefood delivery because the MYR 10 e-voucher is expiring soon and one pandamart delivery because there is no more bread in the house.

8 am - he shallow fried back bacon, mushrooms and two eggs to eat them with tomatoes, raw lettuce, avocado, pecan and macadamia nuts. The plate is about 7.5 inch or about 19.5 cm in diameter so the portion is not as much as it looks.

4.48 pm - his dinner of braised pork trotter from the previous day, bought from ZSD Food Mart.

3.18 pm - both of us shared this piece of salmon Shioyaki for lunch.

This shopeefood delivery order from Ginza Sushi is to use up the MYR 10 e-voucher that is expiring on the same day.

2.34 pm - pandamart order just for the gardenia purple bread. The pistachios and cashew nuts are to reach MYR 35 to use a MYR 8 off e-voucher. The bun is to fill the gap.

Total price is MYR 29.07 including a tip.
