Hakka Yin eatery

On Thursday 29.feb.2024, I realize that this date won't exist next year. Early morning, went to off then to breakfast at million ocean coffee shop but the garbage truck was clearing the garbage bins next to it so we went to eat brunch at Hakka Yin eatery opposite million ocean coffee shop.

*** Hakka Yin eatery ***

8.05 am - he ordered:

1. Onsen egg chili noodles MYR 11.50 nett. He likes it due to the onsen egg and lard taste. I ate the remaining noodles. The two pork meatballs have soft texture. The chili taste good, not very spicy.

2. Hot cham drink MYR 4.50 nett.

I ordered:

1. 8 pieces of wanton in soup MYR 7.50 nett

The fillings seem to be whole soft prawns but I can't be sure because I didn't inspect the fillings. Taste is acceptable.

2. 3 pieces deep fried sui gow MYR 8 nett.

Ate one is ok. Ate two can feel that it is a bit oily.

8.22 am - total bill is MYR 31.50 nett.

1.11 pm - I ate the remaining sweet firm char siew from Tuesday 27feb2024 and remaining rice, peanuts, anchovies from Wednesday 28feb2024. At near 10 am, walk to pass documents and back.

2.53 pm - he ate the remaining siew yuk and cencaluk omelette from Wednesday 28feb2024. then he ate the remaining two slices of bread with peanut butter. We didn't go out after our brunch.

Lucky Garden Kopitiam

On Sunday 30.jul.2023, woke up at around 5ish in the morning so went for brunch early and to buy lunch for the Elderlies.

8.04 am - one big portion of dry 3jc mihun horfun to share MYR 12 nett. The regular portion costs MYR 10 nett. My iced Cham less sweet drink MYR 3 nett and his hot cham less sweet MYR 2.20 nett.

We noticed a poster stating that this ming hin 3jc noodles stall has a branch in Bukit Jalil.

8.12 am - MYR 10 nett lean char siew for both of us to share.

8.17 am - my portion of all the food and drink. I ate them while he walked to nearby coffee shops to buy lunch for the Elderlies. He bought chapfan no rice and a fried fish for them and also one pack of 3jc horfun mihun soup regular MYR 10 nett.

He also bought a slice of pineapple MYR 2 nett for me and a slice of papaya MYR 2.50 nett for himself .

8.37 am - Brunch at Lucky Garden Kopitiam Bangsar Baru.

*** 126 Mixed Rice Sri Petaling ***

3.37 pm - our early dinner of chapfan no rice. Total price MYR 21.80 nett. 

Right: His fried chicken thigh costs MYR 5.50 nett. The pork liver dish costs MYR 3.70 nett. The spinach dish is MYR 1.80 nett.

Left: my plate of potatoes, sardine, spinach and one egg MYR 10.80 nett.

3.32 pm - the pork liver dish.

3.37 pm - he went to buy two packs of chapfan no rice for the Elderlies.

3.55 pm - is everyone having late lunch or early dinner?

3.55 pm - dining area.

Tian Hong Char Siew

On Saturday 4.mar.2023, he went out twice - once to buy lunch for the Elderlies and another time to buy dinner for the Elderlies. I stayed home both times because I wasn't ready when he was ready.

12.24 noon - he bought 3 packs of char siew with steamed chicken thighs, two packs without rice and one pack with rice MYR 47 nett from Kedai Kopi Tian Hong, Jalan Tuanku 2, SSG. The elderly enjoyed eating the layered pork belly char siew very much.

12.27 noon - he heated up the herbal pepper stomach pork ribs soup MYR 16.5 bought from Chok Kar Chong on Friday for his lunch too. In the evening, he went to Fatty Mixed Rice to buy 3 packs of chapfan dinner for the Elderlies and himself. I ate one piece of chicken and finished off the pork knuckle from Chok Kar Chong. 

The Long Wait

On Monday 4.jul.22, he accompanied one elderly to the hospital for the regular doctor visit and waited there from 8 am to 2 pm because there are 82 patients in front of them in the queue. Parked at an independent car park for MYR 11 because the car park of the hospital is fully occupied.

6.57 am - pork mihun soup MYR 8 from mountain Hill eatery bought the previous day. He ate his breakfast early because of the hospital visit. He added lettuce to the mihun. He kept some mihun and ingredients for me which I ate for lunch at 1.24 pm. I like the very soft mihun a lot.

2.30 pm - he ate this char siew rice lunch when he got back home. The peanuts are hidden underneath the cucumbers.

10.45 am - I ordered this shopeefood delivery at 10.30 am ish for his lunch from Fatt Kee eatery. After all discounts and shopee coins redemption, the price is MYR 14.74 nett.

5.40 pm - my dinner of the dry beef broad wanton noodles MYR 9 bought from the wanton noodles stall at tuck Tuck tei coffee shop on the previous day. Won't buy it again unless there are people to share it with me because the portion is too much for me but the beef shanks taste good. The braised egg is from the chapfan stall of Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop.
