On Sunday 25.oct.2026, went to Midvalley Mall for food. Before that, I ate one remaining 🍌 from the fridge to clear it at 7.53 am because I kept the banana 🍌 for him but he says he won't eat cold banana 🍌 so I had to eat it 😋 eating cold 🍌 is like eating ice cream.

8.32 am - he chose nyonya colors to eat his breakfast set MYR 11.80++ upgrade drink to hot nescafe 60++ cents. Total MYR 13.75 nett for soft boiled eggs, kaya butter toasts and hot nescafe drink.

Then I chose to eat my meal at Hock Kee.

9.37 am - cross section of my sambal egg cucumber bun MYR 7.90++

Very mild spicy until can be considered not spicy so will eat this bun again when I want to eat some light food.

9.39 am - half in my hand and half on the plate 

9.29 am - he ordered hot soy milk MYR 6++ and I ordered iced matcha latte MYR 14.90++ 

The milk in my drink is slightly sweet

9.33 am - he also ordered chicken satay MYR 19.90++

After card discounts promo, total is about MYR 52ish.

10.56 am - hot barley no sugar and our usual fried chicken whole leg no sambal with special requests for curry gravy and half portion of rice

I also ate the two remaining butter cake from Yut Kee which has been in the fridge for almost 14 days.

Sweet Sunday

On Sunday 6.nov.2022, went to Taman Desa to buy groceries and chapfan no rice lunch for ourselves.

*** Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop ***

1.47 pm - cute colourful angku kuih and sago kuih, as colourful as teletubbies. Sago kuih pink, green, yellow taste strongly of coconut. Each pack costs MYR 2.70 nett.

2.44 pm - green Pandan kaya fillings, pink rose fragrant with red bean fillings, red angku with sweet mung bean paste fillings and yellow angku with salty mung bean paste fillings. I also bought a bak Chang MYR 8.50 nett from the same kuih stall.

12.19 noon - chapfan lunch with no rice MYR 18 from the chapfan stall for both of us:

1. Chicken thigh

2. Okra

3. Eggs bittergourd stir fry

4. Two braised eggs

5. Napa cabbage

6. Yin choy

7. Pumpkin

8. petai minced meat

1.44 pm - taro swiss roll with taro paste in the middle MYR 15.80 and chocolate butter cake 200 g about MYR 12.80 from RT Pastry. Will last me for at least 10 days.

1.09 pm - frozen meat bones MYR 36 per kg and frozen ribs MYR 41.48 per kg.

This Shan Quan meat store is located in Taman Desa.

4.38 pm - he boiled ribs and bones small bitter gourd soup for his dinner.

*** Ripe Avocado ***

2.22 pm - 2 of 2 avocado MYR 6.99 each bought from De Market supermarket on Thursday. Creamy and tasty! 😋

Butter Cakes Combo

Bought Sour Cream Butter Cake Combo with cakes made from 6 types of different butter. Received the cakes on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020.

Different heights and slightly different texture.

Ate a bit of each before I kept all of them in the fridge.

The cake seller aka baker is so kind to give all the customers this container of homemade popia nestum as a free gift.

Not my breakfast - tendon pork balls, cuttlefish pork balls and bursting pork balls in soup bought from Porkki Porkki restaurant on Thursday 26 Nov 2020, 2 days ago. Self added Mee Hoon and a poached egg with runny yolk.

My breakfast - one tendon pork ball, one cuttlefish pork ball, kimchi pajeon from Thursday 26 Nov 2020. Left two pieces of kimchi pajeon for the next days.

Ate two rice cheese sticks direct from the fridge, bought from Uzu chicken on Friday 27 Nov 2020. 3 rice cheese sticks remaining.

Not my lunch eaten midway - roast chicken drumstick and siew yuk rice MYR 8 Nett bought from friendship cafe.

I didn't buy my weekly dai gou mien to eat because I have too much food in the fridge that I need to eat.

My lunch - I ate all the remaining chives pajeon and chives kimchi. The chives kimchi may be red but it is only a bit spicy. 

I still have radish kimchi and two containers of napa cabbage kimchi in the fridge. I think I need a week to eat them all.

Frozen cendol from the freezer. Tastes good, yummy!

Both if us shared this zhar yuk muk Yee rice from Tuesday 24 Nov 2020 (4 days ago) with added bok choy as dinner. I then ate one mung bean pastry and ate all the marble cake and states butter cake cos I need to end my meals with desserts.

Fruity Butter Cake

Bought half a fruity Butter cake for MYR 50 nett. Buttery and fruity, just sweet enough. Best!

The KFC promo is for 3 days, 9, 10, 11 and we bought it on the 10th. Now they are using security stickers to seal the bag. A good move.

Total MYR 20.90 Nett for buy 2 pieces chicken combo and get 2 pieces of chicken free. Delivered all the way from KFC Endah parade.

I had to eat these two side dishes. Not my favourites but still ok.

They should have just squeezed 4 pieces of of chicken into one box.

Breakfast for two pax. No more buns so slices of wholemeal bread it is.

Zhar yuk muk ye with rice for two pax for lunch bought on Saturday 4 days ago.

I finished all the ham by eating it with my rice. The ham was a bit too salty for me. Dinner was one orange, one cold deep-fried nian gao, one slice of 1x1x2 inch fruity Butter cake and finished all the marble cake 2x2x1 inch slice.

Saw this and made an order.
