Krispy Kreme

After reading about PH having krispy kreme donuts during stay-at-home period, I finally bought 2 using an e-voucher which says buy any two assorted varieties donuts and get 1 original sugar glazed donut.

One of the two donuts I bought with choc in it. Shared by two pax.

I bought premium donuts at MYR 4.30 nett each. With so many varieties, I couldn't decide which two to buy so just bought two chocolate filled donuts. This one is Cadbury Mud Pie.

8.47 am - takeaway food from.Swee Heng and Lucky Alley coffee shop for two days. This pork Yee Mee is shared by two pax and the price just increased by 50 cents to MYR 7 nett.

11 am - ate the remaining half of Whopper with two slices of sprouted grain rainbow bread and then have to drink lots of water because I was very thirsty like the day before. Guess the cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, sauces caused my thirst for water. 

1.16 pm - shared fish wanton Mee Hoon at MYR 7 nett.

5.44 pm - shared this duck egg ckt at MYR 8 nett. Good that the portion is small, just enough for two pax.

Durian Balls

KFC durian balls. Deep fried soft mochi balls with almost liquid durian fillings. Tasty because the durian tastes authentic.

I prefer eating it direct from the fridge when the durian fillings have solidified and the mochi part is no longer that soft.

I also bought the promo of 4 pieces chicken with 5 tenders at MYR 19.90 nett. 5 durian balls for MYR 6.90 nett or you can buy 3 durian balls for MYR 4.50 nett.

Total is MYR 26.80 nett.

8 am - Fish Mee Hoon from Swee Heng at MYR 13 nett but add one prawn to it, the price is MYR 25 nett so one prawn costs MYR 12 nett.

10.38 am - ate almost half a red bean mooncake with salted egg yolk, sweet!

12.50 noon - Pan Mee from Swee Heng for lunch at MYR 7 nett.

1.22 pm - my portion of pan Mee for lunch.

Burger king is back in Midvalley Mall, at the location where Greyhound eatery used to be. This whopper burger is big and heavy.

4.03 pm - ate half a whopper burger for dinner and kept the other half for another day.  Was very thirsty due to the sauces and cheese in the burger.

Bought this whopper burger the previous day. Costs MYR 10 nett only due to a promo. Normal price is MYR 16.55 nett.

Wish You Good

Baos from a new kiosk in Midvalley Mall. Both of us shared them on Sunday 27 Sep 2020 d194. Acceptable taste.

The bao that looks like a potato is a red bean bao whereas the mushroom bao is a lotus paste bao. Both baos in the top row have the same fillings which is bbq chicken.

Price list. Bought 3 signature chicken baos at MYR 8.90 nett and one each of the 3 different baos so the price for all 3 baos is MYR 4.90 nett for a total of MYR 13.80 nett. We didn't buy the century egg chicken porridge.

Only 5 items are on the menu. The name of this kiosk is "Wish you good".

The kiosk in Midvalley Mall lower ground level.  They accept tng payment and cash.

Better price when buy in threes instead of one.

Meiji Snacks

I have to use some points collected when dined at Rakuzen and Sushi Zanmai before they expire so I chose the above two items - crackers MYR 5.50 nett and biscuits MYR 3.50 nett. Gave the biscuits to my friend. 4 

Made in Singapore. The crackers are salty. I didn't expect them to be that salty.

Used the points to pay and only need to top up 50 cents for each.

9.57 am - Dine-in 23. Shared a plate of ah Cheng Nasi lemak with rendang chicken with hot cham. Special request for no sambal

 Basque Burnt Cheesecake Sofuto MYR 3.90 nett. Tastes like butterscotch caramel. I ate all of it by myself.

Job fair - a long queue to enter the exhibition hall.

11.57 am - Dine-in 24 at Popcorn food court. Not that many people. We have not been here since 18 March. Some stalls have been replaced by other stalls. I haven't eaten steamed fish since mco started.

The two dishes are from two different stalls. Lan Jie fish MYR 21.90 nett and Kim Zen MYR 7.30 nett.

No more local flavours buns. Now are mini donuts at the bakery of Aeon.

Bought 3 durian balls MYR 4.50 nett but gave them away so I gotta buy again. 😂😂😂

3.30 pm - percik chicken Nasi kerabu takeaway from Upeh restaurant.

Total price is MYR 25.30 nett.

Horlicks 3in1

 

Read NuxV drinking 3in1 horlicks so went to look for them. Found a few variety.

3in1 horlicks. Made in India.

Just put enough water because I like it thick. It taste like what I drank 20 years ago.

12 noon - My-dine-in 7. Chicken thigh, vegetables and rice. I didn't take the prepacked dhal and potatoes curry gravy. Didn't finish the rice. MYR 3.50 nett as usual.

7.21 am - shared breakfast of pork stomach pepper kway teow soup. Takeaway 3jc. Total price is MYR 19 nett. Coffee hot at MYR 1.90 nett. MJ Wang corner coffee shop at Seapark, PJ.

11.21 am - banana and biscuits.

The biscuits were crunchy and the corn fillings paste doesn't have a strong corn taste but are sweet.

Baker Son

from Jaya grocer, two loaves of Cake - butter cake at MYR 12.90 nett and banana cake at MYR 6.50 nett. Both are acceptable.
 

Banana cake is soft and crumbly.

Butter cake is dense and fine. Can taste the butter. After eating, the mouth will be buttery.

7.05 am - O & S again. Chicken hor fun mixed at MYR 7 nett. Clear broth so this is a light meal.

Popiah again with takeaway nasi Lemak with chicken curry costs MYR 9.60 nett only. Good price.

12.30 noon - not my lunch of nasi Lemak Chicken curry has the taste of the curry of secondary school canteen 36 years ago. Sweet memories!

12 noon - My-dine-in 6 - okra curry, tofu in peanut gravy, two prawns and 12 tablespoonfuls of rice. I didn't take the bag if curry gravy for this prepacked meal and I ate all the rice and all the shells of the two prawns. MYR 3.50 nett as usual. Banana and kiwi are the fruits of the day.
