Today is Thursday 24.jun.21 Day 10 of 14 (2). Yesterday we stayed home and ordered Sugar Bun delivery.
Back in 2016, we visited Sugar Bun at Menara Hapseng for lunch. At that time, they don't have fish burger on their kl menu so I didn't get to try it. Now I see that they have this item so I ordered it for lunch via the smartbite website.
12 noon - I requested for no mayo and no tartar sauce and my request was fulfilled. This is the fish burger without any sauce of any kind.Cross section of the fish burger - the fish fillet is crispy on the outside with flaky meat on the inside.
*** Food cleared on Wed 23.jun.21 ***
1 pm - I ate these 8 whole okras just as they are, without any sauces or dips. I ate them with their tops on.
1.30 pm - I finished drinking this remaining ABC soup and ate all the ingredients in it. All cleared!
I remember Sugar Bub from STP's posts. I love okra cooked like that too but I must have it with sambal belacan. Wah! Lots of durians :)
ReplyDeleteYou remember correctly. He is always talking about how tasty the fish burger is so must try. Ok, quite nice but just a bit in the salty side. This durian was from Sunday. Maybe will buy make next because flat small seeds are very easy to eat.
DeleteYour ABC soup is full of ingredients😋...
ReplyDeleteTrue cos I don't drink much liquid soup but I like eating the ingredients so put more in such as potatoes, carrots, corn, onions, tomatoes, n pork ribs.
DeleteOMG! You really ate all the durian seeds! You might try to eat the skins too. Muahahahaha Seriously, the internet says it helps to clear the worst skin issues on humans.
ReplyDeleteI must try Sugar Buns after hearing so much. I cannot recall eating them even when I visited East Malaysia several times.
Boil the durian seeds and eat. Very sedap! Let me go google how to eat the skin. Watermelon skin the white parts can be used to boil soup. That I know. Ya, when u go Menara hap seng in kl town, u can go try this sugar bun.
DeleteGuess you like to eat your burgers "kosong" huh without adding any extra sauce. :D
ReplyDeleteYou are correct. I prefer eating food kosong. 😀
DeleteGood that you get to try the fish burger. I would order that sometime other than its nasi lemak and broasted chicken.
ReplyDeleteYa, finally get to taste the fish burger. Here they don't have Nasi Lemak in kl.
DeleteThe fish burger without any sauce like this reminds me of having fish fingers sandwich as a student. Of course fish fingers being cheap food in the UK compared to them here.
ReplyDeleteI didn't buy fish fingers sandwich in uk but I microwave frozen fish fingers at home to eat.
DeleteYeah of course made them myself too. Was on a shoestring budget at that time.
DeleteWith that exchange rate, all of us are on a shoestring budget.
DeleteOh the durian seeds can eat? Now is the durian season.
ReplyDeleteNeed to boil the durian seeds and then remove the skin before eating them. Yes in sg got sell red prawn durians I read.
DeleteHi mun, I had left comments in three of your posts. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I have replied your comments already.
DeleteI love boiled chempedak seeds. I have not tried boiled durian seeds. Do they taste like boiled chempedak seeds?
ReplyDeleteYes, quite similar. You can try to boil durian seeds to eat next time.
