I wanted to eat red bean tong Sui because at 4 am this morning, I suddenly have a taste of red beans in my mouth so I feel like eating it. 😋

10.03 am - The red bean tong sui aka sweet soup is MYR 1.90++ when ordered with a dish from the breakfast menu. The dish I ordered is mee Siam with pork slices curry MYR 16.90++
10.52 am - he bought chicken feet and pork bkt for his early dinner.
Total MYR 20.15 nett.
I like the red bean sweet soup here because it is just mildly sweet with lots and lots of soft big red beans.
There is a 2nd bowl of red bean tong sui which is foc because he did a review online. He requested for barley tong Sui but they gave him red bean tong Sui in error. Since it is free, we just accepted it.
After this meal, he walked to Ye Tian Bak Kut Teh to buy takeaway bkt and chicken feet.

ReplyDeleteGood tht you brought your trusted container to tapao bkt. The seller usually put the hot soup in plastic bag which is unsafe to consume.
Depends on what the plastic bags. Some plastic bags are certified to be not harmful at high temperature like some silicone can be used to bake cakes in ovens.

I doubt bkt seller would give those good plastic bag, usually just give cheapskate plastic. You can find the ice cream potong in supermarket. I usually buy them in pinnacle mall supermarket. Yea, got santan milk, taste like bubur chacha without the sweet potato😋

Different kopitiam different practice, different bkt stall also different practice. Some want to maximise profit, so just use cost saving plastic. Better be safe.
