On Monday 17.aug.2026, walked to sun Kin City but it was having a rest day. Then we saw a new eatery opening on this day so we went in to be the 1st customer.
After that we walked to a recently opened coffee shop but he didn't like the vibe so we didn't go in. Ended up in Ho Liao to try the beef brisket curry noodles. After that, he went next door and bought 2 dishes no rice chapfan takeaway for early dinner at 🏡

8.33 am - he ordered braised chicken claw and I ordered braised eggs and tofu.
8.35 am - hot barley drink and dry roast chicken wanton noodles to share. Roast pork and roast duck are not available yet.

9.04 am - old canton roast duck eatery taking over the shop previously occupied by Ming Hin

11.37 am - deep fried pork belly and tofu mix vege no rice MYR 5 nett. I didn't eat any of it because I have completed my meals for the day at 11 am.

Removed 400g water because completed meals early at 11 am and Ho Liao's ice coffee acted as diuretics.

I am very attracted to the braised egg and tofu dish. The curry noodle beef brisket looks good too.

DeleteHi dear Mun, I enjoyed your photos! I am still squeamish about tofu, don't have the urge to try it! The pork belly looks great along with the mixed vegetables! Chicken claw? New to me! I have had chicken hearts, chicken livers, chicken legs and chicken wings, but never chicken claw!

Some tofu are firm so no need to feel squeamish about the texture. Chicken claws or chicken feet can be found in dim sum restaurants.
