Almost 20 Years Meetup

On Thursday 21.may.2026, went to do a task from 0944 to 1007 at Sri Petaling. At about 7 pm, my friend picked me up for a belated birthday celebration. I watched my friends eat dinner and didn't eat anything at all because I completed my meals at home at about 3 pm. 1030 pm back and fell asleep on the lazy chair until 0330 before going to 💤 😴 🛏️ 

*** Sunny Republic Sri Petaling ***

9.18 am - we shared this bowl of tasty 😋 penang prawn noodles MYR 11 nett.

*** Thong Kee Sri Petaling ***

9.56 am - while waiting for me to do the task, he ate toasts, soft boiled eggs and cold white coffee at Thong Kee 

10 am - he says that the toast is tasty 😋 

9.49 am - now Thong Kee occupies the 1st floor of the shop too for more dining tables

10.09 am - Go upstairs via the ground floor eatery area.

*** Clear Fridge Food ***

2.13 pm - he bought wawacai napa cabbage to cook with the previous day's remaining pork ribs and bkt gravy from black market pavilion kl for both of us to eat. I ate 3 slices of wholemeal bread to soak up the bkt soup.

At 3 pm, I have completed my meals for this day.

*** Chef J Old Klang Road ***

10 pm - 7 of us at the entrance of Chef J restaurant. I have known 3 since 7 years old to 17 years and then lost touch with them around 2006 so after almost 20 years, meeting them again.

7.25 pm - initially we were assigned this small room. Later we were moved to a bigger room.

7.38 pm - Matua 2025 Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 

My friend ordered all the food and gave us all a treat so I tried to get the dish's name and price from Chef J menu that is available online.

7.58 pm - heyuan pan fried stuffed homemade tofu with pork MYR 38++

7.58 pm - steamed wawacai napa cabbage with garlic and scallions MYR 28++

7.59 pm - the food items that look like cut cross sections of large dates are big intestines. My friend says the big intestines stir fried this way are very tasty 😋 

8.03 pm - I think this dish is aged shao hsing nu er hong wine steamed fresh tiger prawn 

MYR 88++ for 500g

8.04 pm - Guangzhou chef special juicy roasted chicken MYR 88++

8.15 pm - the staff cut up the chicken 

8.08 pm - grilled iberico pork ribs MYR 168++ served with lettuce mini tomatoes 

8.31 pm - crab and toong hoon aka glass noodles 

8.32 pm - the toong hoon aka glass noodles are below the crab

8.50 pm - deep fried sesame ball MYR 38++

8.56 pm - the sesame ball is hollow so just eat the thin walls of this sesame ball

9.07 pm - I think these remaining pieces of chicken meat are taken home by one of my friends.

9.21 pm - floral birthday cake by the butter cake factory MYR 138

I didn't eat anything at all, just drank some wine

Retained 100g water because ate ribs and wawacai at 2.30 pm.
