I like it that they served the sauce separately from the chicken chop. Oh, you found the pickled leeks. But no more century eggs LOL!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, ya, I could buy both this bottle of leeks and more century eggs from jgrocer but I figure enough century eggs for this year lol ๐
DeleteThe eatery served the gravy separately without us making a request for it to be separated. Very good initiative on their part. ๐ ๐
Chicken chop sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHe thinks it is ok. ๐
DeleteThe last time i went to coliseum mid valley was more than 10 yrs ago. I had hainanese chicken chop. It was just so so only. Hence i didn't go there again.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been there before. I won't order any chicken chop if he is not there to eat it because I find chicken chop too troublesome to eat ๐๐
DeleteConfused whether pickled shallots, garlic and leek are the same thing! My mum wanted the first for her yee sang and I found it under 'garlic' on shopee.
ReplyDeleteNot the same as you also know shallots are very different than garlic but maybe same family as leeks. But would taste almost the same if they are all pickled with same things such as vinegar and sugar.
