What do you do when you do not know which one to buy? Just get one of each type and try them all to find your favourite to buy next time. I don't even know how much each item costs above, the seller just pick one each for me and tell me the total price to pay.
haha!! yes, give me five!! I would have do the same too, probably not because I do not know which to choose, but because I wanna try everything!! so getting one of each will be the best "solution" for me, hehehe!! let's see, there is curry puff, kaya puff, egg tart, coconut tart, pineapple tart, siew bao, chicken pie, lotus biscuits.... errr, just guessing from the photo :)
ReplyDeleteWow, you are a pro! every item you listed above is in the photo.
DeleteI love siew bao and curry puff, yum yum
DeleteI also like chicken pie
DeleteWhat is the total price for all those? I love pastries and I am salivating at these. I like!
ReplyDeleteI bought them before April 1 so the total price was MYR15.20 and I guess now should be more expensive.
DeleteHee, hee! Yes, I like to try one of each too! Then I know next time which is my favourite. :-)
ReplyDeleteAh so you agree too. :D
DeleteSo what's the total price? These things don;t come cheap no more - even a lousy bun with half a sausage stuck inside will cost RM2 or more. :(
ReplyDeleteThere were 13 items in the photo and the total price was MYR15.20 before April 1st. I am not sure whether they increased the price or not now.
DeleteOoooo love those pastries.. First one that catches my eye is the apple tart.. I see egg tarts too.. Yep if I dont know what to choose, I'll buy one each :)
ReplyDeleteYou got both right. :)
DeleteWow! So many lah. So, which one is good?
ReplyDeleteThe mini egg tart, mini pineapple tart, and mini apple tart are tasty.
DeleteHahaha, I usually just pick one or two because can't finish all, hehe!
ReplyDeleteDon't have to eat all in one day. :)
DeleteThere's 13 in there, Mun. I don't think you can eat (or try) all that unless you're talking about taking one bite only. Who ended up eating all that?
ReplyDeleteAh, you counted them. I did not eat those common ones like pork siew bao and chicken siew bao - gave those to my spouse. And I took a few days to eat them.
DeleteYou bought all these, or you watched someone else buy these?? I cannot imagine you buying so many! You are supposed to be a small eater from what I have seen so far. This kind of loot you usually associate with people like me or PH XD
ReplyDeleteHoi! hah..hah... I think Mun just took a bite from each :D
DeleteI bought them lah.
DeleteSome I did not eat but gave my spouse to eat. Others I took a few days to eat them. Those mini tarts, I pop them very quickly into my mouth because they are really mini.
DeleteWah... so many!!! Looks good!
ReplyDeleteMostly good. :)
DeleteWow, I like that! A box full of assorted pastries, Yum! So which one did you fancy?
ReplyDeleteI like the mini tarts - egg tarts, apple tarts, pineapple tarts. Also a pineapple pastry that melts in the mouth but someone told me it is full of trans fat that's why melt in the mouth.
DeleteYa, someone once told me the reason why the egg tart pastry is so flaky and buttery is because it has pork oil in them! I guess really good tasting stuff are never healthy :(
DeleteTong Kee has two types of egg tart - one with butter and one with pork lard. You can test them to see which one has more flaky pastry.
DeleteOo just my cup of tea! I like everything in there... except the yellow one on the bottom left with lotus paste inside *shoo shoo
ReplyDeleteThat one does not have lotus paste inside. It has mung bean like tambun heong pneah - tao sar pneah.
Deleteyummy! Did you have a favorite among those? I love flaky pastries =D
ReplyDeleteI like those mini tarts - pineapple, egg, and apple. Easy to eat by popping the whole tart into the mouth.
DeleteI would do the same too because I want to try everything. Then when I want to eat, I would cut half for hubby to try also. If he doesn't want, then it goes into my mouth...hehe.
ReplyDeleteYou are so polite to cut them in half to share with your husband. I just bite and give him the rest, hehehehe.
DeleteMun, I see you buy pantries more than breads. I love pantries too, especially those tarts and pies. My favorite la! I can go without rice and noodles, I will scream if see pantries like yours.
ReplyDeleteWhen I eat bread, I tend to only eat plain wholemeal sliced bread, not those fancy bread rolls sold in nice bakery shop. You don't have to buy pastries because you know how to make nice tasty pastries yourself at home.
Deletecan finish meh? even one bite for each is enuff to make u full!
ReplyDeleteGive some to my husband and eat one a day until finish lor. :)
