On Thursday 23.may.2024, went to Ikea to use the recycling bins. Before that, went to Pudu ICC to eat brunch. Ate very early dinner at MyTown before going back. Then walk out 500m x2 to collect delivery cables and was back in 13 mins.

1.51 pm - I ordered a grilled salmon set MYR 24.9+ for him. He gave almost all the rice for me to eat so I was very full after eating all the rice which is quite a big bowl. Nice meal except that both of us can't get used to the oil used to grill the salmon and Shishamo because the oil doesn't taste like the oil that we often eat.

Free flow of self service cold and hot green tea which is very good for me because I was very thirsty so I drank 1.5 cup of green tea which was very very cold so it was very refreshing and worked well to quench my thirst.

1.44 pm - he ordered grilled Shishamo MYR 8.9+ which has 4 Shishamo and we ate the heads also.

1.40 pm - most basic chawanmushi MYR 4.90+

There are fanciful chawanmushi in the menu such as unagi chawanmushi and inari chawanmushi.

10.06 am - then he went to buy a cold Cham from Big Eye Hainan Tea stall which I can only taste the sweet milk which is stronger than the tea or coffee taste.

10.19 am - I bought a spring onion pancake aka scallion pancake MYR 3 nett because when I was in Taiwan I like to eat these spring onion pancakes and so happen our table in Pudu ICC this time was right in front of a stall that sell this pancake so I bought it as I have been thinking about eating these spring onion pancakes for a few months now. I find the spring onion taste to be too light and it could be a little bit more salty.

10.22 am - I also bought one egg chives pancake MYR 3.5 nett to try. Tastes ok, easy to eat because it is quite thin.

From the fried nian gao stall, I bought 2 nian gao MYR 2.5 nett each and 1 deep fried banana MYR 1.8 nett to share with him.

10.03 am - I saw this stall right next to my seat so I bought these two items.

On Tuesday 21.may.2024, picked up kid4+ and went for brunch early morning at Thong Kee Sri Petaling. Stopped by Family Mart for kid4 to buy burrito to bring back. Drop them off to continue packing. At about 12 noon, went to buy takeaway siew yuk char siew from Canton-Z for his early dinner and kid4+ lunch before seeing them off to the airport.

7.55 am - mix pork parts soup without noodles with 1 egg. Kid4 likes the smooth and fine meat paste pieces in this soup.

8.01 am - my roast chicken thigh MYR 6 nett and he ordered nam yu meat nasi lemak MYR 9.9 nett for us to share.

2 cups of hot coffee, 1 cold Cham, 2 curry puffs MYR 16.10 nett from the main coffee shop counter.

9.23 am - I ate a bit of the chocolate bagel and berry bagel from grumpy bagels. These sourdough bagel tastes good, especially the berry bagel with a tinge of sourness and a bit of yeast smell.

10 am - finished up the avocado 🥑 he kept for me from his previous day dinner with one slice of wholemeal bread.

12.32 noon - each pack MYR 22 nett contains meat for 2 pax. Char siew and siew yuk for his early dinner and kid4+ lunch just before going to the airport at 1 pm.

Also bought 2 pork siew bao MYR 2.6 nett each and 2 chicken siew bao MYR 2.5 nett each for kid4+ to eat as snack before boarding from the siew bao shop near Canton-Z jalan lazat.

On Monday 20.may.2024, went to eat brunch at million ocean. Kid2+ sang Karaoke after check out before going to the airport. Kid4+ met up with friends at pavilion kl and ate lunch at EL&N London Pavilion KL so we didn't meet up.

11.04 am - Kong Nam Noodles MYR 12.50 nett. We shared this noodles, nice with broccoli. Just didn't like the pieces of coated deep fried dory fish fillets.

11.01 am - 2 glasses of Cham ping drinks MYR 6 nett. 50% sweet for him so it tastes less full bodied to me. His siew yuk char siew MYR 11 nett. This is my favourite Cham ping with the original level of sweetness. I drink this Cham ping and eat a plate of roast chicken meat without soy sauce as omad to bring down the number. Works every time.

11.09 am - my lean char siew and roast chicken breast meat without any soy sauce MYR 11 nett. The roast chicken breast meat is a bit too tough for me so next time I will order chicken thigh meat.

On Sunday 19.may.2024, grab to Pudu icc for brunch and then to kt pagoda since it was closed the previous day. Around 5 pm, prep the elderly and grab to pavilion bukit jalil for dinner celebration. Then it is coffee time at Christine's Bakery.

8.30 am - bought this pack of two mixed popiah total MYR 10 nett after buying 2 deep fried nian gao at MYR 2.50 nett each. Kid4+ ate ccf. A Cham ping MYR 4 nett.

8.36 am - my mixed beef soup no noodles MYR 13 nett and his 3jc dry mihun horfun and very spicy pepper stomach soup MYR 21 nett. A Hot cham MYR 3.2 nett

Bought 4 Bunn Choon egg tarts MYR 11.6 nett 

9.48 am to 10.20 am - 32 minutes of standing chatting amongst the urns.

5.42 pm - grand harbour restaurant opens at 6 pm for dinner. Everyone is back for this celebration.

6.48 pm - the 10 pax table is too small for 10 pax imo so all the dishes couldn't be placed at the table at the same time. I didn't eat two dishes because there wasn't enough to go around - the salted fish pork belly dish and the trotters. 

The curry fish dish and sesame roast chicken dish are worth ordering again because these two dishes are very tasty.

7.44 pm - total bill is MYR 542.90 nett for 7 dishes, 10 pax hot tea and 4 bowls of rice. One piece Kobo cake MYR 7 nett so it is MYR 54.99 per pax so it is MYR 123.75 nett for 3 and MYR 178.75 nett for 1.

8.32 pm - my strawberry tart MYR 16.85 nett. The strawberry tart has strawberry jam beneath the custard so it tastes like eating normal strawberry jam cookies.
