Cheesy Chicken meat balls

Saw this sign that family mart has free delivery for purchase above MYR 30 with family delivery hp app.

After eating Nasi Lemak in the car, I am at family mart, Midvalley Mall to get a cup of hot latte for him and I forgot that I wasn't going to remove my mask because I couldn't resist getting a strawberry cone for myself. Then I got a e-voucher in the family mart app to redeem MYR 3 Nett off if I buy MYR 10 worth of items so I need to buy another item in order to use the e-voucher.

So I bought one set of 4 chicken cheesy balls for MYR 4.50 Nett and with the e-voucher, I got MYR 3 Nett off the total bill. To my surprise, there is a promo for members on strawberry cone with MYR 1.91 Nett off so the price is MYR 0.99 Nett only, original price is MYR 2.90 Nett.

I bought the cheesy chicken balls based on the photo above.

They reheated the balls using the oven but they look so pale compared to the photo on the menu.

Cross section. They taste much better than I expected. The cheesy fillings are not very cheesy. Just creamy enough for the peppery chicken meat balls. I ate one and gave the remaining 3 balls to my friend.

A day of fast food as we ate the kfc tandoori, mutton curry and bk whopper jnr,  for lunch and dinner to try and clear the fridge. Should be able to finish all mutton curry in another two days. Cleared the remaining slice of small fruity Butter cake.

Xmas decor KFC Tandoori

After reading about NuxV going to Midvalley Mall recently, I decided to go there too to replenish some food items after more than one month of not stepping inside the mall. I am pleasantly surprised to see that the Xmas decor is up.

*** KFC Tandoori. ***

Very colourful box.

I didn't want soft drinks so I bought ala carte 5 pieces of chicken because that is the only ala carte option. One piece of chicken has been eaten so there are 4 pieces in the box. 

Sweet and tangy with lime taste. Can tell that it is Tandoori taste. Not meant to be spicy and it isn't.

Ala carte 5 pieces cost MYR 26.50 Nett.

*** Sunday 22 Nov 2020 ***

We didn't eat breakfast at home before going to Midvalley Mall and we didn't want to dine in so on the way, we did a pit stop at Taman Desa and bought two packs of Nasi Lemak with a small portion of rice at MYR 14.60 Nett and ate them in our car. Lolx!

Takeaway lunch from Upeh, eaten at home with KFC Tandoori and a piece of mutton from the fridge.

My mutton curry from the fridge since Thursday 12 Nov, 10 days ago. One piece of mutton a day is the plan to clear this.

Lunch from Upeh, Nasi dagang beef rendang.

Upeh takeaway food of two items costs about  MYR 47 for Nasi dagang beef rendang and Nasi kerabu ayam percik. 

I also bought mix and match BK burgers for MYR 9 as recommended by NuxV.

Soft and fluffy. Not that sweet.

3 chicken siew bao for MYR 5 nett and seri muka kuih at MYR 2 nett. Bought from a stall in front of friendship cafe.

Not my lunch of roast chicken siew yuk rice from friendship cafe and lotus roots dates pork soup from Lucky Alley coffee shop.

Roast chicken, siew yuk rice from friendship cafe. Should be either MYR 6 or MYR 7, I can't remember.

My Saturday da gao mien MYR 1.50 nett - bought from a van parked near friendship cafe. Always buy this when I see the van on Saturday.

2 ccf and 1 beancurd sheet, 1 beancurd pillow and 1 dried pork skin from Lucky Alley at MYR 5 nett.

Zhar yuk muk Yee with Mee hoon and hor fun instead of rice this time from Lucky Alley. Together with the soup and rice, the price is MYR 17 nett.

Shared the rice and remaining lotus root peanuts dates pork soup for dinner. Two pax finished it.

Combo Cakes

Ordered this Combo Cakes Set earlier and received them on Thursday 19 Nov 2020. 

The pink stripes box is so sweet.

Ate a bit of the butter cake before keeping them in the fridge.

Ate the cheese mango cake, all the butter cream on the pandan gula melaka cakes and all the shaved cheese toppings with the two blueberries and one strawberries on top of the moist chocolate cake. Oiling my tummy by eating too much butter cream frosting and cheese toppings. He helped me eat the moist chocolate. Yummy cakes. One of the toppings are strips of coconut soaked in gula melaka.

My breakfast of cakes from the previous day.

I couldn't eat anymore because I was full so this small piece went back into the fridge.

Not my breakfast of pork Yee Mee bought on Wednesday at Sweet Heng MYR 7 nett. Couldn't finish drinking the soup so reheated it to keep till later.

Ended up like this. Luckily it didn't catch fire.

Not my lunch of pork trotter wanton mi bought on Wednesday too from BC n S coffee shop at MYR 7.50 Nett.

My lunch of mutton curry from 7 days ago with bread. 

Not my dinner of instant noodles with egg and masala chicken from 10 days ago.

Passage Thru India

I bought these food on Thursday 12 Nov 2020 via grab delivery and have mentioned some of them previously. Here is the full list.

Fish tikka with some pieces already eaten.

Chicken tandoori with half portion eaten.

Look at the spillage. Covers are not leak proof.

Rasmalai.

Condensed milk taste and sweetness with a tinge of saffron taste.

Chicken briyani and mutton briyani.

Mutton Rogan Josh - still in my fridge.

Palak paneer. The two white cubes inside are cottage cheese which taste creamy with only a mild cheese taste.

Lentil dhall and spinach curry.

Garlic Naan and Vegetable Naan (Masala Kulcha).

Vegetables Kurma (Navarathna Kurma). Sweet spiced curry gravy, not hot spicy at all.

Sweet Almond Naan (Kashmiri Naan) and Pratha which turned out to be Chapati rather than Roti Canai.

This would be mentioned separately as a highlight.

*** Thursday 19 Nov 2020 d247 ***

Breakfast - milky soup is from Tuesday pork noodles. Diy added in broccoli and jiao zi. Added in more pepper and sesame oil to mask the milk in the soup to no avail.

Left the milky soup to me with one jiaozi and two florets of broccoli which I ate but I also could not drink all the soup because it is too peppery so it is good bye. Not going to force myself to drink it.

Lunch is fish head fillet Mee Hoon from swee heng bought on Wednesday MYR 13 Nett.

I finished these broccoli in the evening.

Ate these small cubes of pandan cakes from a new batch of cakes that I got delivered on the previous day (Thursday) which I ate all the buttercream, cheese toppings and cheese mango slice. Oiling my tummy. Another day is completed.
