Which part?

Tomato Chicken, Celery, Angled Beans, Acar with a very small portion of rice - MYR7.50 - I guess the piece of chicken this time is a little bigger so the whole dish is no longer MYR7 like the previous times

I only like to eat chicken breast meat so when it comes to selecting the correct part of the chicken meat  from the dish, I take a long time because I am trying hard to tell which part is the chicken breast meat. Sometimes I got it wrong and took a chicken thigh or chicken ribs so too bad, I also need to finish eating it. Can you tell which part is which when the chicken parts are all covered in sauce or gravy?

Scrambled Eggs on Croissant

Finally we dropped by Antipodean Cafe again for the bacon and scrambled egg on croissant as mentioned in this post during our visit previously.

Scrambled Eggs on Croissant (with Bacon) - MYR19 - we could have it with sausages instead of the bacon. It was delicious until I was halfway through and had enough. Then it was a laborious task going on to finish the rest but I did finish it all. Just love eating the rocket leaves that have a nutty taste. Can you see the rocket leaves underneath the eggs?

This bacon is made of pork loin. Normally in America, when you refer to bacon, those bacon are made of pork belly strips.

Just as before we also ordered the Big Breakfast with Bacon and Mushrooms - MYR20 and a cup of Flat White (coffee) - MYR9 (no photo). Total bill came up to MYR55.70 for two persons after 10% service charge and 6% govt. tax.

Too much for me but don't feel nice sharing one main meal as there are many people queuing for seats here and I did not bring my food container on this day.

MYR5 - a small bowl of kway teow soup noodle with fried meat balls, shredded vegetables and shredded chicken meat. Hawker stalls in Friendship Cafe coffee shop, Taman Esplanade, Bukit Jalil.

MYR6 - this stall sells pan mee but on this particular day, it also sells pig stomach mee suah in hot pepper soup. At the same coffee shop.

Mon Kee

This is another brand of Chinese pastries that you can find everywhere. They set up these stalls in many local neighbourhood coffee shops. Their Siew Baos and Egg Tarts are passable for a quick fix.

So red

Fish - MYR3, Vege (Kangkung - water convolvulus and mixed vegetables chinese cabbage - wong nga pak - stirfry) - MYR2 each, Very small portion of rice - MYR0.60 so total is MYR7.60

Although the fish seems cooked well but when I was eating it, red liquid was oozing out and as you can see from the photo, it is so red. It was definitely not a good eating experience but I ate every morsel on the plate.

SS2 Goreng Pisang

A deep fried chempedak or cempedak (Artocarpus integer). Very tasty. It has no English name I think. The tree is in the same genus as breadfruit and jackfruit and some people say the fruit tastes of a hint of durian which I don't find it so. 4 seeds only for MYR5.

Deep fried Nian Gao (chinese new year sticky cake) - MYR2.20

Thick pieces of Nian Gao and the sweet potatoes and Yam.

This is the stall in One Utama

I have not been to their original stall in SS2 but I am happy that they have a stall in One Utama so that I can get to taste their tasty deep fried food. They have other types of deep fried food too. Yes, I know. I am supposed to not eat deep fried food at all but once in a blue moon, I excuse myself to indulge in this tasty morsel.

Baba Low's

Nyonya Laksa - MYR7 - I took a sip of the broth and find it to be very hot spicy though not salty. Tasted creamy.

Mee Goreng Nyonya - MYR7.50 - I find this dish too salty for my liking and too much sauce for my liking.

Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken) - MYR12.50 - the fried chicken looked really tasty so I ate a piece and found it to be way too salty. If the saltiness level is just right, then it would be super tasty.

Wanted Mee Siam but the waiter says finished so ordered Noodle Soup instead - MYR5.50 - I should have ordered this because it was not salty at all so would be just nice for me.

Cendol - MYR4.50 - the syrup used tastes just like those brown coconut candies wrapped in coloured translucent wrapper that I ate when I was a child but with a slight sourish taste. I prefer the other type of "gula melaka" syrup.
