Purple Malabar Spinach

On Thursday 17.jul.2025, he chose C plus cafe for brunch because he wanted to buy vegetables from the supermarket in pinnacle condo in Sri Petaling.

Tasty purple Malabar Spinach.

*** C plus cafe pinnacle condo ***

10.05 am - kaya butter toast set with hot white coffee and soft boiled eggs MYR 14.90+

10.09 am - ALA carte fried egg MYR 1.50+ and turmeric boneless chicken MYR 11.90 +
Total MYR 28.30 nett

I didn't specify for the egg yolk to be fully cooked so they did a sunny fried egg and I decided to just try to eat it so I drank the sunny runny egg yolk. It slipped down my throat smoothly. Very good πŸ’― 😊

After this meal, we went to the supermarket.

*** Shine muscat green grapes ***

10.35 am - my friend has been asking me to eat this shine muscat green grapes so I bought one pack MYR 8.50 nett. Crunchy juicy green grapes, not that sweet but I feel that the skin is a bit thick. I also bought a pack of 600g deep red cherries MYR 32.90 nett 1st choice on the label.

*** He cooked early dinner ***

2.35 pm - I thought he is cooking just one dish but he is an over achiever so 3 dishes appeared from the kitchen and I was so surprised πŸ˜‚

2.26 pm - I like eating this purple malabar spinach because the stalks are crunchy and the leaves are very smooth.

3.41 pm - my portion

11.37 am - he poached two eggs because there are tiny lines on the shells so it is better to eat them and not keep them in the fridge as the tiny lines may be tiny cracks.

Morning 44.35
Next morning 43.75
Removed 600g water because of maybe the white coffee and purple malabar spinach.

*** The End ***

  1. Thanks for sharing about the tiny lines on the eggs, Mun! And I love poached eggs as well as sunny side up eggs! Your photos and descriptions are great, thank you so much for sharing, dear friend.

    2. Parked there, so only lepak there. Lazy to walk. Used to grow this veggie in the garden, nice to make soup or eat with instant noodlesπŸ˜‹
