WG Member Discount

Daily Set Lunch at Medifoods, PJ again. This time they allow me to chose 4 instead of 3 dishes because the tomato tofu dish I selected was not enough for a portion so they top up with another choice of mine which is vegetables curry. My friends (3) and I share the cost of getting the Medifoods Privilege Card at MYR 23 nett so that we could get 10% discount off our food. This meal that costs MYR 13.80 nett is now MYR 12.42 nett with this card. As each of us paid MYR 5.75 nett for our share of the card, we need to eat this daily set lunch for 4 times to break even which we will easily achieve as we eat at Medifoods frequently for lunch now.

The foc tofufa that my friend collected for the previous visit. I tried one tablespoonful without any brown sugar syrup and it is indeed very smooth. My friend told me that it tastes better with the syrup.

Set Lunch is now MYR 12.42 nett each with the discount card (10% discount). The price shown on the receipt is the discounted price. This discount does not apply to certain items such as dumplings.

Medifoods is selling these 4 types of vegetarian dumplings and I have tried 3 types.

I tried this savoury vegetarian dumpling last week and quite like it as it does not have any fatty bits but yet is very flavourful.

Medifoods sourced this dumpling from Mary Ann's Kitchen. This type is the one I did not buy to try. I believe the price should be MYR 6.30 nett.

This Nyonya Millet Dumpling is the one that I detected the fragrant floral taste from the cekur ginger. The price is MYR 6.30 nett,  not MYR 6.40 nett as stated in the poster.

For this Nyonya vegetarian dumpling, the ground roasted peanuts taste can be detected easily but the blue orchid colour in the glutinous rice is not so apparent from the photo here. Price is MYR 5.30 nett for one. This type of dumpling is also sourced from Mary Ann's Kitchen by Medifoods.

So you know where to go if any of these 4 types of vegetarian dumpling interest you. :)

  6. You are a very healthy person from your blog postings. You are either small eater or skip rice at meal times. I want to follow your healthy eating but I am greedy like Ah Hong Chee.

    Muahahahaha
