On Tuesday 9.june.2026, we went to Yi Hao Cha Shi Desa Petaling for food and then dropped off May Soap 4x6 for my friend.

9.31 am - we shared a bowl of our favourite mix pork fried misua soup MYR 11 nett.

9.34 am - roast chicken and roast pork MYR 9 nett. Kaya butter toasts, soft boiled eggs and hot cham set MYR 8.70 nett.

11.18 am - the supermarket has sold out the bread we buy regularly so we went to family mart to buy a loaf of green gardenia bread.

As it was before 11 am, we also bought chicken floss egg sandwich to get MYR 1 off so the sandwich is MYR 4.90 nett and a cup of dark chocolate soft serve MYR 3.90 nett.

Ate all 4 remaining banana 🍌 two each.

1.51 pm - time to clear the remaining curry mutton from my freezer. It was there since wed 27may2026 which is 13 days ago. I had to eat them all by myself since he doesn't like to eat mutton.

Luck Farm Uptown

On Sunday 8.jun.2025, went to eat nasi lemak at Say Yes Cafe uptown and then to Luck Farm to try some dishes. Parking MYR 2 nett from 0959 to 1256 2h57m.

There was a queue so we joined it and waited for about 20 minutes for a table.

10.25 am - he ordered nasi lemak fried chicken berempah whole leg MYR 11.40+

He says this chicken is a bit tastier than the previous day's fried chicken.

I ordered a side dish of beef rendang MYR 7.30+

11.51 am - I ordered: a small portion of vinegar pork ribs MYR 35+ which he feels is like pork jerky because the pork is cooked until quite crispy on the outside. The vinegar is kind of sweet.

I tried a bit of all dishes and took the remaining food home. I didn't order any rice for the 2 of us.

Mutton Rendang Tea Garden

On Saturday 2.nov.2024, woke up at 5.40 am so at 7.40 am went to Tea Garden Tasik Damai to eat brunch because I want to try the mutton rendang nasi lemak.

8.22 am - I ordered mutton rendang nasi lemak MYR 25.90++ and the mutton rendang is on the sweet side. He doesn't eat mutton because he doesn't like the taste so I had to eat all the mutton on bones.

8.27 am - he ordered curry noodles MYR 16.90++

8.21 am - the soft boiled eggs MYR 4.50++ for Kampung eggs are ready-to-eat in the bowl when delivered to us. He ordered hot white coffee-o MYR 4.90 and I ordered iced cham MYR 7.30++

Mutton wanton mee

On Monday 3.jun.2024, we went to New Lian Hin for breakfast and then walked to Hou's Kopitiam for coffee.

9.40 am - he ordered garlic bread with wobbly eggs MYR 7.9 nett.

9.29 am - my mutton dry wanton noodles MYR 16.90 nett. He tried a bit and says the gravy has mutton taste so he didn't eat the noodles as he doesn't like the taste of mutton. We shared the small portion of curry noodles MYR 10 nett. The big portion costs MYR 12 nett. His hot Cham drink costs MYR 2.6 so total price is MYR 37.40 nett.

10.17 am - after our breakfast, we walked to drink my salted butter coffee MYR 5 nett. I also ordered red bean tong sui which has orange peel taste which he likes. The deep fried wantons go well with red bean tong sui.

Mutton Satay

On Tuesday 9.jan.2024, 6.30 am, he ate breakfast MYR 8.40 nett of hot coffee, toasts margerine kaya, two half boiled eggs at Sepetang Coffee shop before going with the elderly to the hospital for a physiotherapy session. I didn't eat breakfast.

12.08 noon - lunch - two chapfan no rice, one soup and one takeaway siew yuk roast chicken thigh rice for the elderly. Tuck Tuck Tei is having a rest day.

I chose 3 vege dishes for my chapfan no rice because when I got home, I ate the remaining 1.5 pieces of KFC chicken breast meat from yesterday to clear it.

5.32 pm - after delivering medications to the care center, we ate early dinner of:

1. 4 ytf which are deep fried beancurd sheet, deep fried sui gao, ytf brinjal and ytf okra at MYR 2 a piece with a glass of cold pat ji cou MYR 2.50, total MYR 10.50 nett.

2. Satay 5 chicken satay, 5 beef satay and 2 mutton satay total MYR 19 nett.

9.30 am - waiting for the physiotherapy session at 10 am. No strength because didn't practise in the care center.

Noticed the elderly's eyes have a layer of translucent jelly substance on top of the eyeballs. Could it be chemosis?

The elderly's face also looks puffy, facial edema so could it be SVC obstruction?

Kid1 met up with us at the hospital at 9.33 am. Kid1 accompanied the elderly in the 10 am physiotherapy session and reported on the status as below:

The elderly in kid1 own words:

 "declined all the physio exercises after one or two tries today, citing tired and difficult to breathe.. therapist immediately checked"

the elderly's "vitals, oxygen, BP, pulse rate all are good. Therapist commented" the elderly "still has strength but muscles getting weaker due to inactivity"

So the question is to continue with the physiotherapy sessions or not since nothing seemed to be gained from it. No one wants to decide so they set up a date for the next physiotherapy session.

Braised Mutton Laow Di Fang

On Monday 7.aug.2023, we tried out Laow Di Fang at Happy Garden. This eatery officially opened for business in July this year.

10.59 am - my braised Mutton wanton noodles MYR 22 nett. The mutton short ribs on bones are quite tender.

I ordered fresh iced lemon mint but was later told it was not available so I then ordered iced black coffee without sugar. The bitter coffee taste really woke me up.

 

11.05 am - the wanton noodles are mixed with fragrant lard oil and there are many cubes of deep fried lard mixed into the noodles which I picked out and gave him to eat as I don't eat lard.

The wanton noodles are al dente and firm to bite. He ate some of the noodles. The braised mutton has star anise taste.

10.59 am - his nasi lemak chicken rendang MYR 12.90 nett with a cup of hot cham milk MYR 3.50 nett which has a rose fragrant.

Total price is MYR 42.90 nett which is affordable for its tasty food and comfortable ambiance.

11.45 am - shop front, Laow Di Fang eatery happy garden.

It is next to Suchan Cafe.

10.59 am - cashier and drinks counter.

11 am - cosy ambiance for a good chat and tasty food.

After that we went to Sri Petaling and parked at the multi storey car park for an hour MYR 3.25 nett. There are warning notices about snatch thieves pasted all over the car park's walls. 

Walked to submit hardcopy forms to cancel our cards and then walked to submit two 49.91 docs into a machine without receipts. Then went home to do laundry.

At 2.36 pm he chauffeured one elderly to consult kid 1 GP about diabetic blisters aka bullosis diabeticorum or diabetic bullae. Reached clinic at 3.09 pm.

I ate 18 blueberries and 1 green apple at 3.44 pm before calling it a day.

Nale Mutton Nasi Lemak

On Monday 26.jun.2023, went to Midvalley Mall and ate brunch at Nale.

11.37 am - Nasi Lemak Kambing Bakar Nale MYR 39.90++ aka grilled mutton in Nale sauce. The grilled mutton is boneless, tender and very tasty with only a mild mutton taste so he could eat the mutton too. The sauce that I could think of that tastes closest to Nale sauce is percik sauce. I will definitely order this dish again but will ask for no sambal because the sambal is wasted on me as I didn't eat much of it. I brought half the mutton home to be eaten the next day because it was too much.

11.40 am - indomie ayam Bakar MYR 19.90++ aka indomie instant noodles dry with grilled chicken boneless thigh which is tasty and tender. There seemed to be two packs of indomie noodles since there is a lot of noodles. I think they use all the indomie seasonings for the noodles because it was too flavourful for me.

11.57 am - I ate all his remaining indomie.

12.21 noon - total price for two pax is MYR 81.90 nett. The hot teh tarik is very sweet so u poured the remaining hot teh tarik into my glass of cold coffee tarik.

11.34 am - interior of Nale eatery.

5 pm - his dinner of 1 pax char siew and siew yuk MYR 15 nett from Ding Yuan eatery nearby. I also bought 2 ytf mushrooms and 1 ytf tofu at MYR 2 nett each from Ding Yuan eatery because the seller kept up selling the ytf to me. I ate one ytf mushroom while he ate the mushroom and tofu ytf.
