On Tuesday 2.sep.2025, he wanted to go to Canton z to buy siew yuk but it was closed so we went to Ipoh Chicken Rice because I wanted to eat sweet and sour fish fillets.

The Nasi Lemak Shop

On Saturday 7.jun.2025, parked the car at One Utama and walked to the nasi lemak shop at BU4 which the map states as about 850 m one way. After eating the nasi lemak, we walked back to 1u and ate desserts at Zhao Ji Chuan Cheng 1u. 

Stopped by SS20 Fish Head Noodle for haruan fish fillets yinchoy soup as early dinner on the way back. We shared one bowl as both of us were still very full.

We reached the eatery just as it was opening at 11 am so there was no queue but there was a queue when we have finished eating our food.

11.03 am - my order: mee siam MYR 8.90++ which is very flavourful and the texture of the mee siam is crunchy.

1.27 pm - I ordered crispy milk curd MYR 13+ and chilled mango pomelo sago MYR 16+

All authentic taste. The mango cubes are sourish sweet so they are very appetising. 😋 

1.21 pm - the crispy milk curd rolls. The milk curd fillings have texture similar to soft tofu. The flour wrappers rolls are quite similar to popiah flour wrappers.

2.26 pm - shop front. This shop closed for lunch break at 3 pm.

2.35 pm - I ordered iced lime without sugar drink MYR 4.6ish as I was very thirsty. He ordered cendol.

2.37 pm - we shared this bowl of yin choy haruan fish fillets without any noodles. About MYR 2x.xx per bowl. We chose mixed fresh and fried haruan fish fillets, 3 pieces each by default.

2.47 pm - my portion. I really like to eat this haruan fish fillets prepared by this shop. Couldn't find similar ones elsewhere.

I also bought 4 braised eggs x MYR 1.50 each and Brinjal dish with broccoli dish x MYR 3 each so total is MYR 12 nett.

Cny day 4 Three Ice Bowls

On Saturday 1.feb.2025, we ate lunch with the elderly at Go Noodle House Pearl Shopping Gallery and also topup his meds. Later in the evening, kid1 and family had cny dinner with the elderly at Rue Ee Teochew restaurant OUG.

On the way back, I stopped by kwong wah oug and ate 3 bowls of ice desserts: chendol, bubur chacha and ABC while he ate a bit of each.

On Sunday 5.jan.2025, he wanted to try the popular pork noodles in Yulek, cheras so we went there early at 7.40 am to avoid the queue.

7.52 am - he chose option 2 for me. Option two is pork slices, livers, intestines and minced meat patty. I chose misua noodles in soup. MYR 10.50 nett. There are many slices of tender livers and deep fried lard cubes. The soup tastes of deep fried garlic oil.

8.59 am - kui lum noodle house shopfront.

7.52 am - hot winter melon drink is in a plastic sealed container. Total bill for 3 items: MYR 29.50 nett.

7.56 am - he ordered option 1 which is everything: minced pork, livers, intestines, minced pork patty, bursting meat balls and meat balls, dry version with mihun MYR 16 nett.  The fragrant deep fried garlic oil taste is strong. 

After this brunch, we walked to Lubiantan ABC nearby to drink coffee ☕

8.32 am - Signature ABC MYR 6.50 nett. He didn't eat this abc at all. I ate all the ingredients but not the melted ice. I detected that the santan used are those santan sold in packages or cans. Not those santan freshly pressed from coconuts 🥥 

8.30 am - his small hot cham MYR 2.80 nett.

MYR 5 nett for Soft boiled eggs for him and toasts kaya margarine for us to share. Then we went home.

At 10.40 am, we went to Canton kitchen happy garden to pay the MYR 200 deposit for cny eve lunch. While there, I ordered two dishes without any rice for early dinner.

2. Sweet sour fish fillet MYR 28++

11.31 am - took home these pieces of chicken and mushroom for his another day early dinner.

11.19 am - the fish fillets are as tasty as I remembered. We always order delivery this dish of sweet and sour fish fillet during the pandemic. We polished off the whole plate of fish fillets, onions, cucumbers, pineapple, tomatoes and capsicum without eating them with rice, no rice 🍚 at all. Delicious 😋 🤤

On Friday 15.dec.2023, early omad but later was too hungry so ate early dinner on the way back from ward.

8.17 am - I wanted to eat tasty fish slices so we revisit this eatery. Only grouper fish slices MYR 18.90++ and coral leopard grouper fish slices MYR 21.90++ are available this early so we ordered one bowl each with mihun. My favourite fish slices mihun soup because the fish is fresh and tasty.

8.19 am - he ordered see ham MYR 11.90++ which are tasty as well. The green chili Herby sourish spicy dip is very appetising and a cup of hot Hainan coffee MYR 4.90++ .

Total bill is MYR 66.80 nett. At 12 noon, I ate half a tub of blueberries around 62 g.

1.33 pm - he ate 3rd and 4th slices of pork belly that he has been eating over the past 2 days from a frozen cooked pork belly pack that the neighbour gave him to thank him for helping with their computer. The mihun is from Wednesday.

*** Satay Station Dwitasik ***

6.03 pm - I have already brushed my teeth for the night as the fish mihun soup is my omad but after the trip to the hospital, I was too hungry so we stopped at Satay Station Dwitasik and ate some satay.

Total price is MYR 27.20 nett. When back home, I ate 2 slices of wholemeal bread with hot cocoa drink.

Kid 1 visited the ward during the afternoon visiting hours.

We visited the ward during the evening visiting hours. Parking MYR 3 nett.

The blood sugar reading is 18 mmol/l after breakfast so the elderly was given an insulin injection.

The elderly's breathing is still laboured but she is making conversation ok.

The pacemaker staff took readings from the pacemaker in the elderly for the doctor.

On the way back from hospital, he served kid1 bought lunch to the elderly for dinner because the elderly didn't eat the lunch during lunch time. The elderly ate 4 bananas which shouldn't have eaten so many bananas because of the elderly's ckd.
