On Sunday 7.june.2026, we went to Midvalley mall super early at 7 am because oriental Kopi opens at 7 am when the mall only opens at 10 am. 😂

7.47 am - hot white coffee MYR 6.50++

Double toasts kaya butter MYR 5.50++

2 half boiled eggs MYR 4.60++

8.16 am - warm red bean tong sui MYR 6.90++

Total for 5 items: MYR 46.85 nett.

I wanted to eat at Red kettle but it only opens at 10 am, still 30 minutes to wait so we went to Hock Kee instead.

9.39 am - signature lontong chicken meat MYR 18.80++ which we tried before and we like it so we ordered it again.

One hot cham drink MYR 6.20++ to share.

9.45 am - I ordered golden polo bun which is on the sweet side with scrambled eggs and cheese fillings MYR 12.90++ taste is acceptable

11.26 am - we shared one big tub cold herbal jelly MYR 16 and bought one bottle of 24 herbs bitter drink MYR 7 to take home.

🐈‍⬛ Likes to Serangan Hendap me when I am cleaning the litter box but sometimes I was alert so 🐈‍⬛ will make uturn and act as if it was all my imagination 😙

A walk for food

On Tuesday 3.feb.2026, walked to Sun Kin City for food.

10 am - he ordered pork yimi soup and hot coffee which we shared.

2.07 pm - I drank a bowl of red bean tong sui.

*** He fries 4 eggs ***

3.22 pm - we ate two eggs each. He ate 5 sui gao and I ate the skins.

3.37 pm - I ate the frozen remaining rice from yesterday's ELK Kopitiam.

Red Bean Buns

I love to eat red beans so now that everyone is buying loaves of bread until I could not buy any because there are none left when I walk to the shops, I am now buying these red bean buns. Gardenia red bean buns (6 buns in one pack) cost MYR 3.50 nett for a pack. Mighty White Red Bean Buns, also 6 buns in one pack cost 10 cents lesser at MYR 3.40 nett for a pack. Both buns taste good to me.

Cross section of a Mighty White Red Bean Bun - not too much red bean fillings so it is not very sweet. Good to eat one bun for snack when one is hungry to quickly stop the hunger.
