Fav item replaced sad

On Thursday 20.aug.2026, early start to buy subsidised prescription. Then went to Southern Kopi Cheras and found that my favourite fish dish has been replaced. So sad 😢

9.35 am - they removed my favourite fish dish and replaced it with the nz deep sea perch fish and chips MYR 25.90

9.38 am - nasi lemak deep fried chicken whole leg MYR 17.90 which is also a new item in the menu

9.23 am - soft boiled eggs, kaya butter toasts, hot white coffee and my favourite kaya swiss roll

10.07 am - his charcoal egg tart. The hot white coffee is no longer hot so I asked him to order a hot drink again so he ordered hot coffee no milk no sugar.

9.20 am - new item nz deep sea perch fish and chips which replaced the dish below 

This is the previous item which is my favourite item which has been replaced by the fish and chips. Fish remains the same but I prefer brinjals to potatoes. Better if they give both brinjal and potatoes.

9.20 am - new item chicken leg berempah style 

7.37 am - he ordered nescafe Tarik and plain roti canai to share. Total about MYR 6

7.59 am - I am no.9 in q and then found out a new process is in place:

At 8.20 am they will give out numbers 

At 8.30 am they will start calling numbers and when our number is called we hand in the prescription slips and pay the subsidised price and wait again until our number is called to collect the prescription.

Completed at 9 am.

9.11 am - vegetarian shop opens early.

Minimo Bingsu Sri Petaling

On Wednesday 19.aug.2026, as I wanted to try out Minimo Bingsu, he said we will go there for brunch today but when we reached there and looked through the menu, we decided to eat brunch at Wang Yee Wang coffee shop nearby before coming back to Minimo for desserts.

9.32 am - I ordered Mango 🥭 Bingsu MYR 23 nett which is enough for two pax so there were two empty small bowls on the tray for sharing but he doesn't eat milky food so I am the only one eating this ice dessert.  I completed my meals for this day after finishing everything on the tray. 😋 

The shaved ice taste creamy milky. On top of the ice was a layer of cream with chunks of mango 🥭 embedded in the cream. A small jug contains mango puree. The 4 small saucers contain:

1. Small mango 🥭 cubes

2. Aiyu jelly 

3. Springy brown sugar boba balls

4. Grass jelly

9.23 am - I also ordered chicken wings MYR 9.90 nett and cold Americano MYR 10 nett.

Total MYR 44.90 nett.

8.40 am - I ordered beef mix no noodle MYR 16 nett from this the one beef noodle stall.

8.47 am - beef balls, tripe, brisket and tendon no noodles MYR 16 nett. Acceptable.

Tong Ho Vege Livers

On Tuesday 18.aug.2026, went to Thong Kee Sri Petaling for brunch and then he cooked pork livers and tong ho vegetables for early dinner.

Nasi lemak curry chicken MYR 10.90+ special requests for no peanuts 🥜 because our teeth are weak and cannot chew the peanuts

9.57 am - I ate the frozen bananas and bread. The bananas are cold so they taste like bananas ice cream 😋

11.03 am - I like to eat tong ho vegetables aka glebionis coronaria aka chrysanthemum greens 

So he bought them from pinnacle condo supermarket on Sunday and cooked them with pork livers and one remaining salted egg.

11.22 am - my portion. Completed my meals for this day after this meal.

On Monday 17.aug.2026, walked to sun Kin City but it was having a rest day. Then we saw a new eatery opening on this day so we went in to be the 1st customer. 

After that we walked to a recently opened coffee shop but he didn't like the vibe so we didn't go in. Ended up in Ho Liao to try the beef brisket curry noodles. After that, he went next door and bought 2 dishes no rice chapfan takeaway for early dinner at 🏡

8.33 am - he ordered braised chicken claw and I ordered braised eggs and tofu.

8.35 am - hot barley drink and dry roast chicken wanton noodles to share. Roast pork and roast duck are not available yet.
