Back Ribs Pavilion

Baby back ribs at MYR 52++ (MYR 60.32 nett after 10% service charge and 6% SST). Baby back ribs refer to the back ribs that are taken from the top of the rib cage, near to the spine and close to the loin so it is more tender. It has nothing to do with baby pigs. The highlight of this dish is of course the 3 sticks of back ribs but the fries and caramelised onions are tasty too. The coleslaw has a bit too much mayo but both of us managed to finish it. The back ribs are on the sweet side and the meat just fall off the bone and we can easily make pulled pork from the meat.

Big big breakfast at MYR 29++ (MYR 33.64 nett). Compared to the previous time we ate this at the Tropicana City Mall outlet in Dec 2017, this dish has green vegetables in it. Instead of spinach, it was green amaranth (yin choy) which I like to eat but the strong greenish taste does not go that well with the other items in this big breakfast so we prefer spinach. Overall, everything taste great so we will always order this dish when we eat at any outlets of this restaurant.

The flat white (coffee) is MYR 9++ (MYR 10.71 nett) and with the buy 1 get 1 free promotion, we get another cup of flat white. We use a MYR 50 voucher for this bill and only pay MYr 54.40 nett.

Pigs & Wolf restaurant at Pavilion Mall. I wonder why they use a different name and not just use "three little pigs and the big bad wolf " as the name.

  1. The back ribs look good especially when the meat just fall off the bone. Too much mayo may feel a bit jelak.
