Tea Time at Ying Ker Lou

After eating dim sum at Ying Ker Lou (10 am to 12 noon) and finding the food to be tasty, we returned to the restaurant on another day during tea time (3 pm to 6 pm) to eat the special priced dim sum again.

Ginseng Chrysanthemum Drink (Hot) MYR6 - it has a very strong ginseng taste and not sweet at all so it is worth drinking. Snow Pear Rock Sugar White Fungus Dessert MYR4 - very sweet and the pear is a bit crunchy and rather tart so I suspect the pear has been slightly pickled.

Pan Mee - MYR6 - a smaller portion than those served during normal lunch or dinner time.

Deep Fried Shishamo - MYR6 for just two

Hakka Bamboo Shoot Dumplings (MYR5) for two in a basket. Normal price is MYR9.9 for three in a basket.

Luo Mi Ji (Mandarin for glutinous rice with chicken) - MYR5. The total price includes 10% service charge and 6% gov. tax.
