Tea time

Between brunch and dinner, sometimes we eat the following food to keep hunger at bay. Not exactly healthy food but it does the job.

Iced ginger tea (MYR 2.3), iced lime tea (MYR2.3) and rojak with the sauce served separately (MYR4.8)

Mee Rebus (MYR4.8)

A small packet of ready-made basic Nasi Lemak in banana leaf (MYR1.7)

  1. Used to have tea on Sunday when I were single. Rojak, belacan kangkong, laksa or prawn fritters. Those were the days. Hehe.

  2. Those ready packed nasi lemak can sometimes be very yummy! Last time, only RM 1 per pack selling here, now... I am not sure how much already~

  3. I like Indian rojak, but minus the sayur, keke.. I always order rojak tak mau sayur.. Just the egg, taukua and keropok only.. I love nasi lemak bungkus, altho not much "liew", just sambal and 1/4 egg, still the best in the world - if the sambal is nice.. Everything depends on the sambal..

    1. The sayur I think is shredded sengkuang and shredded cucumber. You don't like them? Hehehe, I only eat a bit of the sambal usually.

  4. I like basic nasi lemak but sometimes the basic one really does pissed me off. U just got quarter of hard boiled egg and huge spread of sambal. Pffftt...ahahha

  6. I haven't had nasi lemak wrapped in banana leaf for years. I miss it so much. Not just the taste but the whole experience. The mee rebus looks delicious. Making me hungry now
