I know many people do not eat offal (the internal organs of animals such as kidney and liver that are used for food). My friend likes to frequent a certain stall that sells pork noodle mainly because they offer pork kidney.
I eat pork livers but I don't eat pork kidneys and have never even tried to eat one. I just don't dare. Do you like to eat pork kidneys?
Can you spot the piece of pork kidney in the bowl of noodle above?
come to think of it..i have not tasted kidney..have ate liver and heart.
ReplyDeleteDare to try?
DeleteOh yes! I love kidneys! I had 1 pair of kidneys (2 pieces) every alternate days during my confinement! I requested for kidneys and kidneys only during my confinement.. And liver too.. I know it's not good for health, but can't care so much, hehe, eat first..
ReplyDeleteAre kidneys more delicious than livers? Livers are said to bo huit (add blood) so is good but not too much of it lah because some say livers also contain toxic.
DeleteI like kidney and liver, but not pig blood, now Singapore can't sell pig blood....
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me. Haven't post blood food yet.
DeleteYou know what? I always make sure I have something to eat when I go through your site. Simply too many food to make me hungry. So if I have something to eat while browsing through, I have less craving. Haha!
ReplyDeleteHah! So this blog should carry a warning - do not read on empty stomach. :D
DeleteI do eat, occasionally.
ReplyDeleteIs it commonly sold in pork mee in Taiping?
DeleteEh kidney is generally more palatable then liver. Try it, do. :)
ReplyDeleteReally!?
DeleteI am avoiding them due to my age :) But I only like intestines.
ReplyDeleteIntestine including sang cheong and tai cheong? I only eat sai cheong.
