Deep Fried Tilapia in Thai sauce - MYR45 - The fish has been filleted so it is boneless. The fish is very crispy and tasty. I think it is a trend nowadays to put the snack cuttlefish pieces on deep fried dishes such as this dish as I have seen this in dishes on Reana Claire's blog too.
Kai Lan - MYR25
Deep fried pork marinated with prawn sauce - MYR44 - crispy and tasty but I find it a bit on the salty side so this will go very well with plain rice.
Japanese Tofu with minced pork meat - MYR25 - I can detect a slight curry taste in the somewhat sweet soy sauce so it tastes quite good despite being on the salty side - goes well with plain rice too.
One whole roasted chicken - MYR70 - can't see the chicken because it was almost covered by the prawn crackers. We couldn't finish this dish because the chicken was really huge so half of the chicken was packed and taken home by my sisters-in-law.
Mixed vegetables soup - MYR35 - very special milky soup with baby chinese cabbage (Wa Wa Vege) - ultra tender and sweet, a variety of mushrooms, yam, beancurd sheets, ginger.
The restaurant treated us to a complimentary big platter of fruits - red dragon fruit, papaya, red watermelon, and mango but I have forgotten to take a photo of it.
Tea is priced at MYR2.50 per person (9pax only), a bowl of rice at MYR1.50 per person (8 pax) and a plate of peanuts at MYR3 (2 plates). As usual I did not eat any rice so those dishes that go well with rice were very salty for me. Total price came up to MYR315.80 inclusive of 6% gov. tax. and 5% service charge. I am surprise to see that their service charge is only 5% compared to the usual 10% so definitely worth coming here for dinner celebration.

I find it weird that the plate of kai lan cost the same price as the tofu. In terms of preparation kai lan is so much easier to prepare and from the photo there was not much in terms of quantity. Is kai lan an expensive veggies these days?

I love "kiu soong" dishes or wedding dinner dishes.. Especially the first and second dish.. As for "kiu soong" dishes, I love the fish, "lam yue" fried pork and the claypot tofu.. Yummzzzz
