Yuzu Kit Kat Ice Cream

On Wednesday 17.jan.2024, he didn't have any specific food he wants to eat for this day so I suggest to just walk out to the nearby eateries to support the businesses in this community and we did just that.

*** Kit Kat Uzu Ice Cream ***

10.59 am - I ate this kit Kat Uzu Ice cream MYR 5.50 nett bought from family mart. The fillings don't have yuzu taste. It is the coating that has dried candied yuzu orange peel taste. You either like it or dislike it. I am ok with the yuzu orange taste in the crunchy coatings.

10.50 am - saw this kit Kat Uzu Ice cream advert at shell station but they don't have another ice cream which is walls dark Choc crunchy Ovaltine ice cream that he wanted to try so we walked to family mart to try these two ice cream flavours.

10.54 am - family mart got 4 types of kit Kat ice cream which I have tried 3 types and now trying the yuzu flavour.

10.55 am - bought one walls dark Choc crunchy Ovaltine ice cream MYR 4.70 nett for him to try and after trying, his comment is ok ok, biasa chocolate ice cream.

*** Timwon coffee shop ***

10.16 am - trotters wanton noodles MYR 12 nett with appetising pickled green chillies. Must support this new stall. May the stall continue selling this dish for many years.

Ice cham aka coffee mix tea at MYR 3.70 nett. The two plastic bags contain one bakwa floss bun each MYR 5.50 nett each which he bought from this elderly man on a motorbike cart:

10.19 am - also to support the new 3jc stall, he also bought one bowl of dry 3jc noodles MYR 9 nett. The crunchy fragrant ju yao zhar in the 3jc noodles are from the trotters wanton noodles.

10.24 am - his remaining portion of wanton noodles for me with a piece of trotter but I requested him to eat the trotter instead as he likes to eat trotters more than I do.

I bought 3 types of vegetable dishes MYR 6 nett from the chapfan stall:

1. Broccoli

2. Yinchoy

3. Okra

The vegetables dishes taste ok, especially the yinchoy tastes nice and tender.

*** Pinggan Besar stall ***

10.48 am - fried chicken MYR 5 nett per piece from this pinggan Besar roadside stall.

*** Stop to Smell Roses ***

11.11 am - saw wild mushrooms growing on this broken branch on the grass on the walk back home.

*** Status ***

Suspect the Elderly has dysphagia because not eating much and oxygen level reading shown by oxymeter is 86 so ambulance sent to admit to ER.

One hospital ER is full so we ride in the ambulance together with the elderly to go to town hospital ER where we are still there now at 7.11 pm waiting for further news. This is the 4th time I ride in an ambulance with full 🚨 on and 1st time I ride in the front seat next to the ambulance driver while he sat at the back with the elderly and ambulance medical personnel.

The care center doctor sent his report to say the elderly needs to be admitted to hospital to optimize the medications for heart failure and hyperthyroidism. The elderly is in advanced stage of heart failure condition.

For the record:

8.32 am - 2.9 mmol/l

12.02 noon - 3.8 mmol/l

12.15 noon - 3.6 mmol/l

The above low reading is because the elderly is having water retention in lungs and heart due to a failing heart so is feeling full and doesn't feel like swallowing even though chewed the food for a long time in the mouth.

5.33 pm - reached town hospital which luckily accepted.

5.50 pm - emergency cases

7.23 pm - he ate roti bakar and coffee while waiting for news from ER.

7.51 pm - his roast chicken thigh MYR 6 nett and teh o hot MYR 1.50 nett. After this got a call from ER doctor, asked him to sign no intubation, no CPR documents. 

ER doctors inform that they are using 4x pressurized oxygen to push oxygen into the elderly as the elderly lungs are with water retention. This case is categorised as DIL.

9.30 pm - 9.40 pm both grabbed home.
