Isolation ward

On Thursday 18.jan.2024, ate brunch early and served bought deep fried big intestines congee MYR 8 nett to the elderly by calling beforehand to pre empt the elderly from going out before eating the congee.

*** Timwon coffee shop ***

The plan is to eat brunch at million Ocean coffee shop but it was not open so went again to timwon coffee shop.

7.31 am - chicken curry dry wanton noodles MYR 10 nett and hot cham aka coffee mix tea MYR 2.20 nett.

*** Clear Freezer Food ***

8.53 am - I ate the bakwa floss bun from yesterday from the freezer. Taste the same as freshly made ones except that it is cold and only the cucumber is frozen. The bun and bakwa are still soft.

10.18 am - ate these two gardenia buns at MYR 1.70 nett each bought from a convenient store at the hospital yesterday for the elderly but the elderly couldn't eat due to water retention in lungs and heart because of the heart is failing so I ate both buns today. Very easy to eat, sweet, soft and light. Didn't even feel like having eaten anything after that.

7.38 am - he gave me this large remaining portion of curry wanton mi to eat so my omad was completed at 12 noon.

*** Status ***

Called ER to get updates. There is no change in the elderly's state. No visitors are allowed in the isolation ward. Currently waiting for a bed to be available to transfer to normal ward, then only visitors are allowed in the normal ward with the usual visiting hours.

So most likely will visit the elderly this  evening if the transfer is done by this evening.
