Eat My Heart

On Friday 5.jan.2024, early morning he received a call from the elderly inviting him go eat siew yuk that the elderly bought from the walking distance makeshift morning market so he went over. Then we went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

*** Prime Cuts ***

2.11 pm - Ah, one whole heart ❤️ for only MYR 6.90 nett.

2.07 pm - A pack of liver is only MYR 4.46 nett.

*** Oriental Kopi ***

10.35 am - I ordered our favourite mihun and fried boneless chicken marinated with tumeric.

10.39 am - he ordered the breakfast value set. We shared the food.

*** Sushi Zanmai ***

12.13 noon - I saw yee sang on the special menu and went in to order it only to find that I didn't read the dates that it is available only from 12jan2024 onwards.

12.12 noon - so ordered these 3 items.

12.31 noon - a diligent and happy worker cos it is singing a joyful tune.

12.54 noon - sushi Zanmai has a big outlet.

*** Food Merchant Food Court ***

1.59 pm - saw this braised beef shank and ordered it without any oil and gravy. The lady boss gave me a MYR 1 discount.

2 pm - this is the stall.

*** Decor ***

11.44 am - the Xmas Decor is still there, didn't change to CNY decor yet.

*** Steamed Sweet Potatoes ***

3.42 pm - the beef shank MYR 18.90 nett without any gravy or oil, exactly what I requested.

He steamed 500g of sweet potatoes that he bought from the supermarket MYR 14.99 nett. He also bought 3 unripe avocado MYR 12.40 nett. Have to wait and see whether or not they will turn ripe.

*** Jumbo Avocado ***

4.31 pm - the jumbo avocado MYR 8.99 that I bought yesterday is a bit soft on the outer layer and crunchy inside but still taste ok so we ate it all. I ate the above portion with 2 slices of wholemeal bread.

*** Status ***

Morning before breakfast reading 7.6 mmol/l which is an improvement from the previous morning.

This is the siew yuk the elderly bought from the morning makeshift market. It is a wonder that the elderly called to invite him over for siew yuk because once there, he discovered why the elderly didn't watch TV yesterday because the elderly pressed the wrong button on the TV remote and set it to another input.

When kid4 called the elderly in the morning to eat meds, the elderly told her TV is rosak. So he set the TV correctly and the elderly could watch TV again today.

    1. As long as the elderly doesn't control the type of food eaten, the blood sugar wouldn't normalize. Btw not my parents but thank you for your best wishes.

  2. the elderly at home seems like enjoying life so much, and still very active going out to buy the food that he enjoyed, even inviting the son to feast together, lol!

    1. Ya, that's why the children all think the elderly will escape from care center if sent there because although the elderly doesn't know how to operate handphone and TV and doesn't know when to eat medicine, the Elderly likes to walk out to nearby morning market and shops. The elderly knows how to operate landline house phone.

  3. I'd be so squeamish dealing with the heart. The labelling of 'prime cuts' make it seem like a delicacy.
