KFC San Thai
On Monday 8.jan.2024, at 9.06 am travelled 38 km for an appointment at 10 am.
11.58 am - chicken whole leg with rice and cabbage and steamed okras MYR 11 nett.
My roti telur bawang which I think is MYR 3.50 nett and two drinks. Total is MYR 19.20 nett but they waved the 20 cents so it is MYR 19 nett only.
1.07 pm - on the way back, stopped by the new KFC eatery in Sri Petaling and bought chicken for his dinner. Saw San-Thai flavour and bought a burger to try.
3.50 pm - the San-Thai burger has a boneless chicken leg as the patty. Batter is very crunchy, tastes slightly spicy with a sweet aftertaste.

I wonder if "San Thai" is meant to sound like "santai". Good that they use boneless chicken keg instead of breast. Does the sauce taste like Thai chili sauce?
ReplyDeleteThe sauce tastes like mayo mixed with Thai chili sauce. Not sure about the name San Thai.
DeleteI went to the new KFC in SP a few days after its opening, they seem to be adjusting with the environment and everything were 'slow'. Even the ordering kiosk got to restart, hence leaving only 1 kiosk functioning.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was there at around 1 pm, they were enjoying very good business. Waited quite a bit for my order.
