Kaisen Nabe Zen

We went to Kura Japanese restaurant again for its set lunch. Even though the set lunch menu only lists a choice of saba or sanma for its grilled fish set lunch, the waitress told us that salmon is available too so we ordered salmon shioyaki this time.

Salmon grilled lightly with salt set lunch (includes potatoes salad, pickled vege, chawan mushi, rice, miso soup, fruits) for only MYR23. To me, this is the best way to eat salmon - lightly grilled with salt with no heavy tasting sauce.

Seafood nabe set lunch (includes chawan mushi, fruits, rice, pototoes salad) for only MYR33. The seafood hotpot contains a lot of food for one person - chinese cabbage, prawns, pieces of salmon, tofu, lettuce, onions, squid rings and the soup is very tasty and not salty at all.

Hot green tea foc. Total Bill: MYR64.95 (inclusive of 10% service charge and 6% gov. tax).

    1. There is really a lot of ingredients in the nabe so I think the price is justified.
