On Monday 5.aug.2024, woke up early just to go to this new eatery in Sri Petaling.

7.05 am - free kaya Margarine toast with MYR 1 nett soft boiled egg.
7.09 am - daily free kaya Margarine toast each for each customer per pax from 6.30 am to 9.30 am and MYR 1 nett for 1 soft boiled egg.
After 9.30 am, MYR 1.50 nett for 1 soft boiled egg, add 50 cents.
7.01 am - sky is still dark when we reached the eatery. This eatery used to be old town white coffee ☕ and this new Kopitiam started business a few days ago.
7.13 am - iced Cham and hot coffee MYR 6.40 nett.
MYR 1 soft boiled egg and 1 slice of free kaya Margarine toast.
7.21 am - mixed braised items with hor fun soup MYR 12 nett shared by 2 pax. Many stalls are not opened so early so many people ordered ckt from the ckt stall which is one of the few stalls opened for business at 7 am. I think the remaining stalls open later around 8 am maybe. Braised items taste ok.
7.20 am - I am surprised to see so many people so early at this new eatery.
8 am - Kopitiam number one at Sri Petaling where old town white coffee used to be located. He bought takeaway braised trotter MYR 13 nett without rice without noodles for his early early dinner which he ate at 12 noon.

*** Water loaded left foot ***
Sat unmoved from about 10 am to 2 pm and discovered my left foot is swollen like a balloon with all toes looking like short small fat sausages. When pressed, the dent stays dented for a long time.
Quickly lay down and lift up my left leg. Massage it. By night, the swelling went down by more than half. The next morning, I got my left foot back. I suspect I compressed a lymph vessel after sitting for about 4 hours not moving. What a fright!

free kaya margarine toast for customer - need to purchase any drink? or just purchase any food from any stall will do? I think the early morning crowd was from the nearby morning market, some people went there for breakfast then do their marketing.
ReplyDeleteNo need to purchase any other thing. Just go take your free toast and sit down to eat. If want 1 soft boiled egg just pay MYR 1 nett. I guess a table may order one drink to share cos toasts may seem dry to be eaten without any drinks.
