Salted egg yolk puff

On Sunday 4.aug.2024, went to a new eatery Auntie May Noodle House in Taman Desa for food in the rain.

9.16 am - 1. Small signature teochew prawn noodles soup MYR 16.90 with slices of pork, pork ribs, prawns, eggs and Kang kung.
2. Small Radish pork noodles in white pepper soup MYR 12.90 with pork slices, minced pork clumps and diakon.
3. Two soft boiled eggs MYR 3.50 which was quite cooked because we left the eggs in the hot water for far too long
4. A cup of hot signature coffee MYR 4 with strong coffee taste and strong milk taste. The strong coffee taste stood out on its own and didn't cover the strong milk taste which also stood out on its own so he asked me to drink the remaining coffee after he drank half of it.

9.17 am - kaya butter toast MYR 4 which tastes ok. Total price is MYR 41.30 nett.

10.26 am - shop front.

We then walked in the rain 🌧️ ☔ to a pharmacy and bought 24.8 meds for the elderly. As it was still raining, we went to pinnacle condo as the basement car park will shelter us from the rain.

11.06 am - a set of hot soy drink and youtiao MYR 8.60 nett.
A bowl of hot tofufa MYR 6.50 nett.
One black sesame ham chim Peang MYR 3.50 nett.
Salted egg yolk lotus puff in the shape of a curry puff MYR 3.90 nett which tastes very good 👍 😊 will buy again.

11.06 am - total price is MYR 22.50 nett. Later at 6 pm ate half a red dragon fruit and the final slice of Verona pandan chiffon cake, 7 pm, ate all the remaining sourdough loaf from Verona bakery bought on 10.jul.2024, 24 days ago.

  1. so, the salted egg yolk lotus puff has filling similar to mooncake except that the crust is currypuff crust?

  3. I love salted egg yolk lotus puff. The one at Yitcha Kaw Kaw Kopitiam is shaped like a ball. On my next cheat day, I must eat LOL!
