Steamed grouper fish slices with hor fun in rather sweet soy sauce - about MYR17. Tastes good but I prefer the one I ate at Wong Chau Jun, Penang.
Stir fried hor fun sea food. Taste better than its look.
Siew Mai - when we were there, they were having a promotion for siew mai at a special price MYR2.10 so we ordered it.
Chives dumpling - about MYR3.20
Lots of chives inside
Squid mai (squid dumplings) - about MYR3
Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice - about MYR4.30 - we were too full then so we took it home in the container that we brought from home.
I would like to try the squid dumplings as I had never tried it before in SG

DeleteI particularly like the grouper fish slices with hor fung. I take your word that the sea food hor fun tasted better than it looked. It's rather messy.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely taste better than it looks.
DeleteWith all the noodles, I would be very full too.
ReplyDeleteThree of us share the food.
DeleteI go for the first dish. Fish with hor fun. The stir fried seafood hor fun looked gooey. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteDim sum. I just had it few days ago.
Good choice!
DeleteMun, is that Maxim or Max Gourmet? It has been some time since I last went to Maxim... or maybe two different shops altogether?
ReplyDeleteIt is Max Gourmet at komtar. Under the Maxim Group so same same.
DeleteOK, thanks for the info, Mun!!

DeleteWTF?? RM2.10 for siew mai... Arghhh I missed it!!!
ReplyDeleteYou won't go komtar just for this. No matter how cheap it is.
DeleteI won't, you're right. But they do have an outlet in Gurney Plaza, which I do go to from time to time (due to Cold Storage)...
DeleteMaybe the offer is just for this outlet.
DeleteSquid dumplings, this I would like to try! Promotion price is very cheap.
