Here many noodles stalls carry many types of noodles. If they have mee suah we can always request fir mee suah instead of the default type of noodle used.
I like crispy fried bean curd. Next time can ask them to place them separately from the soup so that they will remain crispy. Referring to your comment on my post on the Thai chicken basil rice....hahaha...its not that I didn't tell him. Its because he went alone to order without my knowledge.
The crispy deep fried bean curd sheets will make this dish more tasty and flavorful
ReplyDeleteThe seller thinks so too I guess! :)
DeleteMee suah? I sure would like to try. Here, we only have it two ways - with the traditional Foochow red wine chicken soup...or fried.

DeleteOh yes, tau kee is one of my favourite too, dear! xoxo
ReplyDeleteCrispy ones?
DeleteThe chef should be smart to put the fried bean curd sheets on a separate plate.
ReplyDeleteWe have visited GoNoodles 3 times and my wife would order plate fulls of this fried bean curd sheets.
Whenever I go eat at Go Noodle I am too stingy to order a plate of fried bean curd sheets.
DeleteSome do like them soaked in soup. I like mine half-half hehe.
ReplyDeleteAh so some do like them this way - half-half.
