Pat Kin Pat Sun at Sri Petaling

We intended to eat at Tea Garden Sri Petaling but we couldn't find a parking space nearby so in the end, we just ate at Pat Kin Pat Sun eatery at Sri Petaling which is nearer to our parked car. This Pat Kin Pat Sun eatery is located below Krathong Thai Sri Petaling and behind the Grand Shanghai Banquet Restaurant.

We order this dish - stirfried beancurd and roasted pork with rice - from the Aug promotion menu with 30% off its normal price (MYR14.60) so we only need to pay MYR10.20 nett.

The other dish we order is a bowl of Curry Noodle with Pork Skin at MYR6.50 nett from their special menu. Both dishes are acceptable, good enough to fill our stomachs.

  1. Each time I read your blog and you mentioned you eat in Sri Petaling and I'll think 'I'll never end up eating there as it is too far from me'.

Guess what? I was in Sri Petaling for dinner today and I must say I am very impressed with the area I was in. It was so busy with cars, people and all, it was actually very happening! I am finally in Sri Petaling and it looks like Dataran Sunway in PJ. Hehe.

Now that I know where is Sri Petaling, I can read back all your blog posts and see which one I can go explore :D

  3. I prefer their branch at Pearl Point. Basically, I find their food pretty acceptable. I only patronised the one in Sri Petaling once.

    1. The food is the same, right? There is another outlet in Kuchai Lama.

    2. The last time we went to the Sri Petaling outlet, they don't have the set meal i.e 3+1 dishes n soup for 2-3 persons which we like very much at the Pearl Point branch.

  4. Huh? Thought this is a tong sui place. (Or I mistaken with another one again) Their main courses should be... oh yeah, you mentioned it, acceptable. Not great huh?

    1. I think you got the correct one. Just that they have lots of other food as well. Not bad is good enough for the price.

  7. parking is still an issue, with the new row of shophouses opening soon, expect even worse...I have eaten in Pat Kin Pat Sun, but not this outlet in Sri Petaling. That curry noodle looks OK for that price.

    1. Yes, parking is definitely an issue. Even the multilevel car park is full and the parking fee is expensive. No meat in the curry noodle, only pork skin and other items like tofu pok.

  8. Aha! I think I know this place when you mentioned below the Thai restaurant. I would park nearby at The Store's car park and walk there. They have very little parking bays with congested traffic.

    1. The Store's car park is no longer there. It must have been a very long time since you have been to this area.
