The durian stalls were relocated to a proper building
Found it - SS2 Durian
4 of us ate 3 durians (all small ones) - Musang King 1.2kg @ MYR30/kg, Red Prawn (HongHar) 1kg @ MYR16/kg and a durian with pale thick flesh and very small seeds (I did not catch its name) 1.3kg @ MYR20/kg and my friend gave us all a treat - MYR78 in total.
MUN! I am missing the durians! Saw so many posted up in FB.. I told my friend to freeze up some durians for me.. hahaha.. this is the most I could do.. hahaha..
ReplyDeleteFrozen durians taste very good too!
DeleteOh? Is this the eat all you can place, pay RM10 only?
ReplyDeleteNot sure they still have this eat all you can or not after they moved to the new place.
DeleteWow! They have a nice stall with tables and chairs for you to eat durians?? I never it here.
ReplyDeleteThey don't do like this in Kuching? Here it is quite common to have tables and chairs at durian stalls,
Deletewow that's a lot of durian...I'm really wishing I could taste it someday.. i mean.. the raw ones not the processed durian flavor goodies.. appearance wise, Durian always reminds me of Jackfruit but i know this fruit smells stinky yet absolutely yummy
ReplyDeleteThe texture of durian flesh is not the same as jackfruit at all. Hope you get to taste it someday.
DeleteI want to eat....haven't get a chance to eat durians.
ReplyDeleteEat it soon before the season is over!
DeleteNot a fan of durians, but I used to eat them when I was younger.. Then I realized it could make me fat very fast, so I stopped eating..
ReplyDeleteJust eat la & worry fats later otherwise you will miss all good things in life.
DeleteI would rather eat 5 biji durians today and go diet for next 5 days! Hi hi hi hi
Eat durian in moderation will not get fat.
Deleteluckily you were still able to find this stall easily and it was just nearby, else really potong stim.. so, durians huh?? hehe, I would say "No, thank you" regardless if you are going to offer me some or not, haha.. xD
ReplyDeleteI know you don't eat durian. :)
DeleteSo now is "Say hi to SS2 durian, now in SS19" huh... XD
ReplyDeleteI'm not good with durian species. The best one is D24, isn't it?
No. The best is Musang King and TM has eaten the best:

Since you don't know I take it that you don't like to eat durians too.
DeleteYou're right, I don't fancy durians much..
DeleteWow, that's about RM25 a durian...money well spent if you love durians, I suppose. I'm afraid I don't eat durians so I wouldn't know the names of the good species.
ReplyDeleteOh, you don't like to eat durians since like forever?
DeleteI think I've eaten it once or twice...didn't like the taste and never ate it again!
DeleteI saw to many people sharing durian. I can't wait to eat some during this weekend.
ReplyDeleteDo eat some before the season ends.
DeleteThanks for the new address!!! I will be there!
ReplyDeleteGo, go, go!
DeleteNot for me! I can't get past the smell. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave you tried some before by holding your nose? :)
DeleteI just found out about the move last weekend. I love durians! There's a van at Taman Tun Dr Ismail that parks in front of Maybank. They were selling Musang King at RM22 per kg.
ReplyDeleteGood price! Can eat more!
DeleteAnd I thought they are famous for their durian buffet. Guess it's no longer a buffet now that they've relocated?
ReplyDeleteMost probably they still have buffet but I did not ask.
DeleteI was taken to a place in Cheras where there were a few stalls long the road side 2 days ago. There were tables and chairs with even water for washing hands. Its a first time for me. In Ipoh we do not have the tables and chairs for customers to eat at the stalls.
ReplyDeleteThere are many places like this in KL and you have been to one.
