Steak Prawns Salmon

On Wednesday 16.oct.2024, went to Pavilion kl for an errand.

*** Tokyo Teppan Pavilion KL ***

12.36 noon - 5 pieces of very delicious, tender strip loin steak with a little pink in the middle. 😋 

12.10 noon - after my errand, I walked around in pavilion kl searching for tasty affordable steak to eat for lunch. The lunch set menu for steak at D Empire Pavilion KL is about MYR 160++

Then I looked through Tokyo Teppan's menu and noted down the price:

1. Wagyu saikoro hotplate MYR 250/150g

12.10 noon - wagyu beef MYR 240/150g

2.01 pm - Angus beef steak MYR 92/120g ala carte and MYR 100/120g for a set meal

2.01 pm - salmon fillet MYR 28 ALA carte and MYR 38 for a set meal

2.01 pm - then I saw this set meal of strip loin beef, 2 prawns and salmon at MYR 53++ which looks good and affordable because I don't want to eat too much beef, it is best to have a variety of tastes so I walked into this empty eatery and ordered this set. 

12.31 noon - I requested for half portion of rice but the rice still looks like a lot so I ate the rice at the end. The iced green tea MYR 4++ is not included in this set meal. I ate this whole set meal by myself because his tummy is still not at the best so he stayed at home and didn't accompany me to do this errand.

This set meal:

1. Main meal of strip loin steak, 2 prawns, salmon

2. Chawan mushi

3. Miso soup with kelps and tofu 

4. Garlic fried rice

5. Stir fry vege of bean sprouts, chives, carrots, cabbages

6. Appetiser julienned pickled kelps

7. 2 wedges of orange 

12.45 noon - the plate of veges is not as small as in the photo before this photo.

12.31 noon - the steak is behind the salmon which is behind the two prawns. The prawns are fresh with firm meat. I even ate some of the prawn shells.

I walked a lot after this lunch to go home by mrt so I think that is the reason I didn't retain that much water.

2.02 pm - total bill is MYR 66.10 nett. I ate this meal slowly from 12.30 noon to 2 pm.

9.18 am - foc 2x2 soft boiled eggs, mixed meat mihun soup, luncheon meat eggs toasts and one cup of hot coffee shares by two pax. Total MYR 18.90 nett.

*** Steamed chicken thigh ***

3.41 pm - he ate these steamed chicken thigh meat MYR 10.50 nett for early dinner that I bought from the food court at pavilion kl.

*** MYR 17 whole roast chicken promo ***

The photo above is copied from online when he sent me the link for this Baker's cottage promo of one whole roast chicken for only MYR 17 nett for the whole month of October 2024. Since there is a Baker's Cottage kiosk on the roadside near entrance D of bukit bintang pavilion mrt station, I bought one whole roast chicken MYR 17 nett which he ate one wing after he ate the steamed chicken thigh. We ate the remaining roast chicken the next day as the two photos below.
