WG Medifoods Lontong

From the new menu of Medifoods, I wanted to try Lontong and Mee Rebus but so far, I have only managed to try Lontong at MYR 16.90 nett but with the discount card, the price is MYR 15.21 nett. They do not have compressed rice (nasi himpit) so I chose mee hoon. The broth/gravy is very creamy but does not taste like coconut milk. I did not ask them what they use but I am guessing that they may have used cashew nuts by blending them to get the creaminess. I may ask them next time but the staff are always very busy.

There are a lot of mee hoon so I kept half and all the gravy/broth for dinner and at dinner time, I drank all the creamy broth - so delicious!

My friends like to order the Vege Mushroom Teh at MYR 15.21 nett after discount which is the vegetarian version of bak kut teh but I don't feel tempted to try it. I prefer creamy broth although I am fine with herbal broth too.

After having Lontong, I visited Medifoods a few more times, almost once a week but I always ended up having the set lunch because that is the fastest to be served and I am reluctant to wait for the noodles to be cooked so I have not tried mee rebus yet.

Daily Lunch Set at MYR 12.42 nett. Additional portion of dishes costs MYR 2.80 nett each. I like this beancurd sweet and sour dish.

Another visit, another daily Lunch Set at MYR 12.42 nett again. I like the choy tam dish and the spinach (por choy) dish.

My friend ordered one of her regular noodles which I also do not feel tempted to try - Bayam mushroom flat skin noodles soup at MYR 15.21 nett after discount. This is the vegetarian version of hand torn pan mee. The portion is more than what is shown in this photo because my friend has eaten half before I took the photo. They give a lot of bayam (yin choy).

Another visit, another daily Lunch Set at MYR 12.42 nett again. When I asked, they told me that one of the dish I took is Kau Kei choy but when I ate it, I felt that it is more like Tin Chat choy (Tian Qi leaves).

I also bought a loaf of bread from Medifoods. The price is MYR 8.30 nett but with the discount, it is only MYR 7.90 nett. It seems that Adventist 7 grains sprouted bread has a new look.
