I like to eat prawn mee but I can't stand the spiciness so now I ask the seller at Swee Hing not to put in chilli oil into the prawn mee broth for me so the broth looks like the above, not red at all. Now I can enjoy my prawn mee with its hard boiled egg, prawns, water spinach, fish cake, beansprout, lean pork meat and mihun (rice vermicelli) - MYR6 nett. I like it a lot and will eat it this way everytime I order this prawn noodle from the stall in Swee Hing.
I also cannot stand the spiciness cos whenever I eat chili, I tend to get sore throat
ReplyDeleteWe are in the same group then! :)
DeleteThat's a reasonable price for the food. I would be happy with it but I would prefer more chilli rather chilli oil.
ReplyDeleteWe call it chili oil but they are chillies cooked in oil.
DeleteOh? Then you will like the one here, my favourite...anywhere, everywhere.
ReplyDeleteBig prawns no or little spiciness sure I will like.
DeleteI like prawn noodles as it's yummy just with a little spiciness.
ReplyDeleteStill got a very tiny bit of spicy taste but very very mild.
DeleteMy eyes deceived me or I saw a double yolks in the egg!!
ReplyDeleteMee prawns. I like it with slight spiciness. Not too ovee spicy or could not taste the other flavours in the broth especially from the prawns.
Yes they gave me a double yolk egg.
DeleteI like prawn mee but I must have the spiciness. I am also asking the same question as Rose regarding the egg :)
ReplyDeleteRose is correct. :)
DeleteEh, you have double happiness in your prawn noodles - double egg yolk.
ReplyDeleteI love spicy stuffs so the spicier it is, the better :D
You are like TM. Thanks for letting me know that it means double happiness.
DeleteHmm the soup stock must be good then. Otherwise will not taste rich enough.
ReplyDeleteI never drink the soup.
DeleteGoodness! Prawn Mee without chilly cannot go down my throat. Wakakaka
ReplyDeleteHonestly, everyone told me I am too fanatic to eat too much chilly and spicy food. I am worried myself.
So you like them spicy!
DeleteI will only eat prawn mee without the spiciness when I am not feeling well or with sore throat. Otherwise, I must have the spiciness to enjoy the prawn mee! Yes, I saw a double egg yolk!
ReplyDeleteYour eyes are correct to notice the double egg yolk.
DeleteI thought I will be the only one to notice the egg yolks with emphasis on "s". Seems like so many able to notice it. Ceh...
ReplyDeleteAll of you have sharp eyes and a keen mind with good observation power. Very good.
