I thought a drink was included in the set meal as well so when I was asked what drink would I like, I replied hot green tea MYR2++ (=MYR2.30) when normally I would not order a drink when there was soup. Salmon was fresh so it was all right.

Call me jakun but at first, I thought Kaori was a food name.. hehe.. Oohh some restaurants include the drinks in their set, some doesn't, have to ask first lor.. But mostly doesn't I think.. Normally when I order bento set, I will order the one with chicken or tempura, plus gyoza.. I love gyoza..

Morning mun.. Reached at 8.10am this morning.. Wah, jam dou.. Coz there was an accident somewhere near Bukit Jalil, on the way to Kesas.. Damn.. Oh, what is jiaozi? Is it "gau chi" (direct cantonese translation)? Or "woh teep".. I love "woh teep", I can eat 20!

Deletehmm I don't think drinks is included with bento set in most places.. it's quite standard they charge you RM2 for a cup of green tea.. some places actually serve green tea for free..

DeleteI have been "thanks but no thanks" to salmon in Malaysia ever since I know what they are, unless if my mom cook then I have no choice but to suck it up. I think most salmon in Malaysia are farm salmon rather than fresh from the sea, they have that weird taste that I cannot accept.
ReplyDeleteWell it is the special salmon taste that I like. My theory is some people have genes that cannot accept this special taste so they find it weird. So you only eat wild fish and animals? No farmed animals and fishes for you? You don't eat farmed tilapia fish?
DeleteI think it is only the salmon. My mom buys all her fish from the pasar, I think a lot of them are farm fish too, but I can accept. Just not the salmon.

DeleteI like salmon and so does my girl! When we go for japanese food, she sure orders salmon sushi.. and last weekend, I bought a piece of salmon from Jaya Jusco for only RM7... so cheap!

DeleteThese days, I'm thick-skinned enough to ask 'Is there a charge for tea?' and refuse a drink if yes. :p Ah set meals... I'm greedy and always want to taste ALL my favs. But always end up having to choose.
