Saturday 11.dec.21 is his day and because the elderlies have no more bread for breakfast, we provided dim sum for their breakfast in addition to the usual lunch and dinner.
Dim Sum delivered from Dim Sum House 8.04 am. He likes the taste of this egg tart. The siew Bao has very different fillings than that of the usual siew Bao. This siew bao's meat fillings are peppery with green peas and onions so he cannot accept that this is a siew Bao. He says the taste is similar to those gravy for beef fillings so next time I will buy Wu ok aka yam puffs because I believe this type of fillings are more for Yam puffs so perhaps the yam puffs have this fillings too.
12.57 noon - deep fried rolls with prawn mixed fillings. Not as tasty as deep fried prawn dumplings because this skin wrapper is bean curd sheets.
8.14 am - two bacon wrapped meat paste rolls. The bacon has nice smokey taste but the meat paste has too many fatty pieces in them.
12.59 noon - he kept one of each for me. Too much fatty bits. I prefer lean meat.
I placed this order before 8 am so I couldn't use the feastkv promo code as that code is applicable from 8 am onwards. Dim sum breakfast for both the elderlies and the two of us.
11.30 am - ordered pumpkin congee lunch for the Elderlies, delivered directly to them. The 3rd pack is for our breakfast the next day. Used feastkv promo code to get MYR 8 off.
5 pm - ordered two bento rice box sets for the elderlies and his dinner. The roast pork skin this time is very tough and hard though the rice and meat taste good.
11.30 am - I ate the kfc classic burger bought on Thursday after checking that it is still edible after 2 days in the fridge. Still ok though it is not advisable to keep food with mayo in the fridge, must eat the mayo asap.
12.57 noon - his lunch of wanton noodles chicken feet mushrooms at MYR 7.50 nett bought on Friday from million ocean coffee shop. Taste ok. I just ate one wanton dumpling.
9 am - bought gardenia wholemeal bread for the elderlies' breakfast for the next day so bought other items on offer too. Uses jimartmore code to get MYR 12 off.

DeleteSpeaking of which... I just had kuih talam from Nyonya Colors which were a week old as hubby didn't notice them in the fridge. Was still ok though texture was slightly harder.
DeleteMeans your fridge is cold enough and the kuih talam is freshly made when you bought it. U ate it cold? Is ok to microwave it a bit to make it softer.

ReplyDeleteI like to eat pumpkin so pumpkin congee is tasty. I like the taste of Colonel burger the best amongst all kfc burgers.
