12.20 noon - ordered these snacks for the Elderlies for tea time and next day's breakfast. He took one siew Bao and one egg tart for his tea. He told me that the siew Bao needs to be baked longer cos it tastes doughy. The fillings are acceptable with not much fatty bits.
This Ruth noodles house is famous for its springy qq hand made noodles but we didn't order that noodles. The address is:

Our food and the Elderlies food from Good Taste Bukit Jalil. Used a compensation voucher for sending me a different item from what I ordered on pandamart.
The Elderlies needed a loaf of gardenia wholemeal bread so I bought it using Pandamart. The bread is now MYR 3.60 versus the previous price of MYR 3.30 nett. There is a MYR 10 e-voucher expiring soon for a minimum spending of MYR 35 so I bought Anlene Gold milk powder in order to be able to use the evoucher.
I don't want mine to taste doughy. Yeah, always pick the ones which are slightly "charred". :D

Deletethe egg tarts look fresh! i prefer crunchy/charred siew pao, but i m ok with doughy siew pao too...coz it will just taste similar to the white doughy pao.

ReplyDeleteYa can eat them as lunch as well but the Elderlies cannot eat them for lunch, must have proper food such as rice or noodles.

DeleteYep Gardenia just went up. I thought of stocking up a bit just for fun, but was too busy at work.
