Thursday 9.dec.21 is his day to provide lunch to the Elderlies.
The sweet potato balls are kind of like chewy glutinous balls with sweet potato mixed in them. Not those pure sweet potato paste. That egg tart is from a stall in Lai Foong coffee shop in kl city center.
This is a kaya puff bought from a stall in Lai Foong coffee shop on Thu 25.nov.21 but is only eaten on Sat 27.nov.21 and still tastes good.
*** Thursday 9.dec.21 ***
Ordered both our food for the whole day and the Elderlies' lunch from the same eatery, TY Tea 2Gether at Esplanade, Bukit Jalil.
2.58 pm - both of us shared this pork curry rice for lunch. He says that the curry is too spicy for him. I feel that there is just too much rice. This is the 2nd time we ordered this dish so no more next time.
9.42 am - both of us shared this nasi lemak chicken curry with one whole hard boiled egg for breakfast. Taste ok.
8.37 am - placed this large order for food for the whole day. The claypot yee Mee is for our next day's breakfast. 4 soft buns with siew Bao fillings, two for the elderlies' tea. I bought pandapro for the whole year at MYR 94.80 nett so I get a MYR 15 e-voucher and also discounts on selected eateries and this eatery is one of them. Pandapro is eligible for 12 free deliveries per month for orders above MYR 25 nett. Cannot carry forward to next month.
12.21 noon - the elderlies' lunch. Dry curry chicken noodles. Very flavourful due to the dark soy sauce used. He added bok choy to it. Too much noodles so the Elderlies cannot finish this much noodles either.
My favourites -prawns fritters, sweet potato balls.
ReplyDelete👍 nice! 😊
Deletethe dry curry chicken noodles is too dark...like KL hokkien mee! my parents will complaint kaw kaw coz they dislike noodles with too much dark soy. I like crispy prawn fritters!
ReplyDeleteI also don't like it because of too much thick dark soy sauce. The prawn fritters are super crispy.
DeleteYes to fritters and kaya puffs. I miss kaya puffs.
ReplyDeleteI also like to eat kaya puff a lot but the kaya fillings must be what I like.
DeleteThe egg tart from Lai Foong isn't Tong Kee any more? It used to be.
ReplyDeleteIf not fussy, can keep some the carbs for breakfast.
I don't think it is anymore because it doesn't taste as good as TK which is tong Kee new name. We always keep remaining food for another day but the elderlies don't keep remaining noodles because the noodles won't taste good to them with their saliva in them. If want to keep the remaining noodles, have to keep a portion of the noodles before they start eating.
DeleteCan set some aside also before eating.
DeleteThe Elderlies cannot be bothered to do that and neither could the person serving them be bothered to do that. 😩😫😵
DeleteHaha... ok ok.
DeleteYa it is a hahaha situation. 😵😅
DeleteWow so 2 days after being bought it is still crispy and tastes good? Must be really good.
ReplyDeleteAte the fritters immediately. After 2 days is the kaya puff.
