8 places CNY decor 2

Before I continue with Place 6 (Pavilion Mall), I would like to present the CNY decor at the Starling Mall:

Fancy a walk in a cherry blossoms (sakura) park?

Children playing happily under the sakura trees.

Entrance to this lovely park.

The theme is "Prosperity in Bloom".

The stage for performance.

CNY decor at The Starling Mall - a sakura trees park. Very lovely with the right ambiance of a cherry blossoms park for visitors to enjoy a Hanami (flower viewing) festival. I have been to Kyoto, Japan during the Sakura viewing season and I must say that this is very close to it on a small scale. Well done!

 ******* Place 6: Pavilion Mall *******

Place 8: Pavilion Mall. More red red lanterns. No animals design this year just like year 2018 which implemented a floral design unlike year 2015  (golden ram) and 2017 (rooster). This year, 2019 CNY decor is all about red lanterns and golden trees.

Looks like a thick column of red lanterns.

Below the red lanterns are the golden trees.

Close up of a golden tree.

From this view point, there are 3 big columns of red lanterns.

Not many people sitting on the steps to admire the CNY decors because the majority of them have gone back to their hometowns for CNY as it was the Sunday before CNY on Tuesday. Golden trees flanked the steps and walkway.

Overall view.

This lion decor is located near the entrance to Pavilion Elite.

Can you spot the white shoe? I find the lone shoe hilarious as I think no one would mind nor notice if the shoe was not there.

Part 3 which is the final part of this "2019 - 8 Places CNY decor" will be out on Monday 11 February 2019. Tomorrow and Sunday, we will be taking a break from CNY decors and showing some snacks instead.

  2. I prefer the lanterns, not really into those fake plastic flowers.

    1. I think if it was the real lion dance with two persons or one person handling the lion head and robe, the shoe would be at the correct position. Just that this is a decor so no need to be so accurate.

  6. Wow the sakura deco is really nice. Since this is the piggy year, very few are opting for animal.
