Moved

We visited MB Four Seasons Place KL again for the delicious Penang Cendol to find that it is now occupying the shop unit next door.

Bigger seating area but it is still self service. After paying for the cendol, one needs to queue to collect the bowls of cendol when they are ready.

This shop unit used to be occupied by Encik Tan Cafe from Singapore under the same company Fei Siong as the MB food court. There is a notice on their fb that states that they are closing on 11 Sep 2018 without giving any reasons for the closure.

This time at the MB food court, we ate steamed chicken rice with beansprout at MYR 10+ (6% SST = MYR 10.60 nett) and Char Kway Teow at MYR 9+ (MYR 9.55 nett). I forgot to ask for no sauce for the chicken rice set so we find the rice and beansprout to be too flavourful (salty sweet) for us.

A plate of nasi lemak (MYR 3.50+) and one deep fried chicken thigh (MYR 5+) making it a total of MYR 8.50+ (MYR 9 nett). The rice is soft with a tinge of coconut milk. For my  friend who do not eat much sambal, the rice can be a bit dry as this stall does not have any other curry gravy to go with the rice. For those who will mix the rice with the sambal, they won't find the rice to be dry.

Should have eaten more times here when there is no SST.

Cendol is now MYR 3.18 nett per bowl. One of us had the hot signature barley soup (tong sui) to find it to be diluted and not worth having so never again. I think I will be back only around Christmas for the cendol. Parked at KLCC parking during a public holiday for MYR 5 nett (1st 3 hours).

    1. I had Fishball Mee Pok (S$4) and Teh Tarik, cannot remember the price for the Teh Tarik

The fishball mee pok's price is very reasonable with 5 quite big fishballs

  2. Wow! Queuing at the Penang cendol place - they still use the old-school spelling, I see.

  5. Now price goes up after SST. But with or without, I bet they still have business.

There is a new Penang shop that opens not long ago. I haven't been there yet. They have cendol, which I am looking forward to.
